Famous lawyer Asma jahangir died

When is the funeral?
its been over a day already.

A nations mindset can be analyzed from how they treat their achievers.

Abdus Salam , the only reason we still exist on the map today had his grave dessicated.

Malala yousafzai, possibly the youngest winner of the Nobel peace prize is hated by her own people and called an american agent.

Asma Jahangir, a woman who fought for the rights of millions alone for over 40 years (even for those who openly abused her) has now passed away and there's thousands celebrating her death.

All while mob lynchers are showered with petals reaffirms my belief that our future as a nation is dark and depressing.

Some are preparing to play conspiracy theory on this one hence a delay.

And demand for a state funeral for her ... WTH!

Well ironic thats such a mullah trait but its a demand the govt should look into.

One should not delay the funeral. Its a basic human rights. Ironic as it may sound

I never met the lady, disagreed with many of her opinions but always admired and respected her. Primarily because IMO being a good human being is the most important thing. The late Asma Jehangir was a wonderful human and always spoke her mind.

She was a true democrat and stood for justice & equal rights for all. She was one of the few who openly spoke out against the Hudood Laws of the bigot Zia ul Haq. Pakistan will miss this remarkable lady who was diminutive in size but a giant in intellect and integrity.

May Allah bless her soul

Make a correction, Pakistan will not miss her at all, just a handful of people. Surprised how you can speak on behalf of all pakistanis how they are taking her death.

And as of her "giant intellectualness" then that pretty much reflected in the crude language she used on tv shows.

And as of "giant integrity" Lmao then what better integrity to be given to a woman who took out 50 million worth loans from pak banks and got them written off , who was protested against by her very own employees - the champion of human rights asma jahangirs own mills employees for not paying them salaries, and who was fighting a case to protect a person who comitted high treason against state, the traitor Hussian Haqqani.

So please she might be your ideal but not for rest of the pakistanis.

And its ironic for last two yeard i am watching you cry on this forum calling imran khan as taliban khan just cause he asked for a dialogue with ttp before zarb e azb ops. But a woman who always opposed formation of military courts after aps massacre to give speedy trials to ttp terrorists and other people involved in other forms of terrorism ,who thru her campaigns managed to halt executions of ttp terrorists is a woman of high morals and integrity to you.

human right activists ? really just go throw Edhi sahab life. you will realize how fake they are.
If human right activists are like Edhi then no, If they are like Asma then 100% indian payed thugs.

If she was a payed thug then why was she equally critical about India in human rights abuse. As a UN rep. she met a lot of Indian leaders including Bal Thackeray in her fact finding trip. Somehow this was construed as paid Indian agent.

You're right. Just a few people.
Like 100 million women who had to get 4 men as witnesses to prove they were raped and could be forced into marriage without any rights.

The tens of millions who were bonded labourers made to work to their death.

The millions treated unfairly under military regimes.

The minorities who for decades were treated like second class citizens in our country.

But you're right that's just a couple people.

.
What I've noticed on this thread is that most Pakistani's are disgusting by nature. Never read such comments for eik paisay ka dead dictator.

RIP lady. Respect for keeping the check on thekedars of mulk and deen.

@Oscar , your comments please.
no one is more disgusting than those pigs who received awards for Breaking our country and piglets who are supporting these traitor swines

You're right she didn't help make the nukes. Another guy did. Now his grave is dessicated and members of his fellow community are condemned by bigots like you.

Now please enlighten me as to who are our "heroes" ?

I'm all ears for the book suggestion :)
Also don't back track like this, it weakens your already retarded narrative. Who are Pakistan's heroes ?
