Famous Indian guru "Sadhguru" Jaggi Vasudev dispersing "knowledge" about the ancient world

really ? :o

his Isha foundation is pretty cash rich (probably tax free), and have patrons/donors from among the top level industrialists in India.
I like this Dimension BABA much better than yeee ejiqual to yummm siiiiii square baba.

all yogi babas have their unique ways and theories, you can learn from all of them, once its not outright stupidity.

He hasn't questioned what have these toppers achieved in the last 75 years and why are the clerks not given the human respect they deserve because they may have their own talents and experiences which may actually contribute to society.

Whether you call them toppers, or A graders or cream of the crop or whatever shit, it doesn't change the fact that you need a mechanism by which better performers in a discipline are identified so that advancement in that field can take place, and in a timely manner. Your wish of settling a colony on Mars is not going to be fulfilled by mediocre people. Please come up with a better system for identifying and promoting such individuals. And please don't criticize Indian system as an example. That is too low a benchmark. But come up with your own instead of always criticizing

But unfortunately he exists and is taken seriously which shows the vacousness of the minds of millions so he must be countered and those followers rescued and reformed. This will be real rescue and not that imposed on female prostitutes by fake-feminists and police and shunted into MBA programs and put into Goldman Sachs, Infosys and Lockheed Martin. :)

Sadhguru aside, self help gurus / writers are not all frauds. Let's just accept that some people understand life better than the rest of us. There is no harm in learning from someone who knows more than us. We do it for learning maths, music, history etc. Same yardstick applies to life as well. It is utter arrogance to keep denouncing people as frauds, just because you (you as in all of us) think you know it all. Just like formal education in STEM or Arts, people need to be exposed to formal education about life as well. It might make them more at ease, more calm and more positive in life. In fact more than ever, we need such education.

In a magazine I once read an article. It said that an Indian village had some 30-40 (numbers may vary I don't remember) kids all named as Saddam Hussain because they all were born during / around 1991 Gulf War.

Many Indian Muslims name their children after famous Muslim personalities like Pakistani cricketers, politicians, bollywood actors, Arab rulers etc.

It’s in Kerala (surprising), a coastal village of fisherman.
