Gandhi only became a pop icon after Indo-US arranged marriage in the 80's otherwise I went american school back in the 90's and our grade eight thick geography and history book taught about 10 all times greatest leaders of world. Gandhi was no where to be found.

Ironically, Khalid Ibn Walid was taught as number 3 for his victorious rule in defeating the Byzanite empire and leading to their dissolution.

Dude, You have your opinion, but will appreciate if you do not refer to the Indian Father of the nation in disrespectful tones. You very well know that I can find 100s of videos/articles that are disrespectful and even out rightly abusive of Jinnah and can keep posting them here before and after getting banned . Wont do anyone of us any good.. So avoid posts that will unnecessarily increase the mod Load...

btw, for every 1 video that talks well about Jinnah, you can find 10 doing the same for Gandhi.. Again, doesnt prove anything one way or the other..and is off topic here

It is a good thing, thats why I am comending Pakistan on helping out innocent people who are held hostage by pirates.

Thats just a jibe to all those indians who like to show off how well their economy is doing, how they are a super power, and how much "richer" they are then poor, beggar Pakistan. Yet it was poor Pakistan who is bailing out the hostages, not the rich indian government.

@Topic: Thanks to Pakistan! It's about time India, Pakistan and Sri-Lanka joined hands in tackling piracy. If the issue gets out of hand, it could seriously hamper all our economies and right now a stable economy is of paramount importance to all of us. None of us here are "rich".

There was news on Pakistani Channels last night that one of Karachiite has pledged 150,000 $ toward the ransom amount after KD singh didnt pay the amount he promised.
