The sad truth is, following imran Khan's apparent continued surrender, a false flag now might be the only way to drag pk kicking and screaming into war mode.

To put it another way, Modi has made many mistakes. A false flag now could be his last mistake, as India is far from assured of military success against Pakistan conventionally. Balakot proved that the balance of conventional force (in terms of limited conflicts) is closer than previously thought. I suspect his advisers may actually be telling him to not do a false flag, as another bslskot episode is a gamble.

India has what it wanted for now. More than likely it will wait a while before thinking about AK. Imran Khan seems to have obliged and decided to let Hindutva have as much time as Hindutva needs.
