We recently told you about Xiaomi getting mandatory type approvals from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) after the mobile manufacturer fulfilled the regulator’s requirements and went through the proper procedure.
But unlike some claims from Facebook pages, Xiaomi has not launched in Pakistan yet.

“We would like to negate rumors regarding the launch of Xiaomi”, said a person who is directly involved with Xiaomi Pakistan. “Several fake Facebook pages claim to be official Xiaomi pages, however, that is not the case”, the official added.

Some have even launched authentic looking online websites along with their Facebook pages. But please be aware that they aren’t official.
Xiaomi only uses its own website when it launches its phones in a country. Its website uses the format www.mi.com/XX, where XX are the initials for the country. Any other website claiming to be the official Xiaomi website is going to be fake.
Xiaomi Will Officially Launch in Pakistan with an Event in 3 Weeks
Xiaomi will officially launch its smartphones and accessories in Pakistan in less than three weeks’ time, we have confirmed with official sources.
As we reported earlier, Xiaomi will release following 4 phones in Pakistan at first:
Other than phones, Xiaomi is expected to bring most of its accessories as well. According to our information, Xiaomi Home appliances (Eco Products), Mi VR, Power Banks, Mi Band 2, chargers and other phone accessories are going to be made available in Pakistan.
Prices will be competitive and all products will come with official warranties.
