Chinese and their brilliance..why not put an equal effort into doing something genuine than copy-cat?

yup, brilliance at its best - cant even get the spelling right!!

ht_china_apple_12_sc_110721_ssh.jpg

A blogger in Kunming, China, found a store a few blocks from her home that looks just like an Apple store. From the outside, it appeared to be legit, especially because of the large white logo. But even in China, Apple doesn't write "Apple Store" underneath its trademark white apple. And the sign spells "store" as "S-T-O-E-R." (BirdAbroad)

ps: before any "Defenders" take up arms, remember the Aatish Taseer saga - him being "discredited" because he couldnt spell his father's name right! Apply that same 'defence' here./

So what if they spelled it wrong. It is not THEIR language, right.

But Salman taseer was HIS father, he is supposed to write HIS father name correctly.

Whatever! BTW, Salman or Saalman - same thing. Just like Bharti or Bharati.

You are defending something which is wrong, fake and above all cant even get a simple spelling right? Dont even know what/who/how to defend!

Most things from China are fake? Yet our economy is the 2nd biggest on Earth... while India is the country that has more poor people than Africa.

You can easily tell by how much "hate and jealousy" Indians on China, they will never give up any chance to bash us, the reason is actually quite simple="getting sick and tired of living under the shadow of China"
Perhaps people tended to ignore whats been going on in their own house, i can dig out plenty of Indian fake name brand, knockoff etc, most of all Chinese fakes don't kill not like the "fake drug superpower" India, dominated 70% of the fake drugs market which end up killing hundred of thousands innocent people on a yearly basis.
Here is just one good example of Indian's fake=Indian "amazon.com"

Guys, seriously: you're going to love this one. Indian site Infibeam -- which looks at least somewhat "legit" -- has completely ripped off Amazon.com... as in pretty much copied it exactly. Now, we're no strangers ourselves to a bit of 'fan fictionizing' of our name and likeness (for retail locations), but this is possibly the most blatant (and blatantly hilarious) thing we've ever seen. Oh, and while you're visiting Infibeam.com, don't forget to pick up an Infibeam Pi -- AKA Kindle ripoff. Infibeam's CEO, Geoff Pezos will thank you.

At least the Chinese can take some something, study it ,then copy or improve it. Indians get technology transfer, yet they can't do jack. Its like the learning curve does not work for these guys.

You start to wonder are these all special ed cases !

When Chinese are cornered they usually resort to Indian poverty and child malnutrition !

"TRUTH HURT"? perhaps thats the name of the game="hurting game" give and take, nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah, they can dish it out, but they can't take it.

They can say BS like "most stuff from China is fake" (when in fact we are the largest exporter on the planet)... but when someone says something that is actually true, they get upset.

A Chinese company called Peking University Founder is showing a new eBook reader, that looks just like Amazon's Kindle 2. They say they will release it by the end of 2009, in Japan, for around 210$ (the kindle 2, by the way, costs 299$).

Fake drugs a bitter pill for India

NEW DELHI - Two recent reports by international health organizations have highlighted the disquieting magnitude of the counterfeit drugs market in India.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) reckons that 75% of the world's total supply of fake drugs can be traced to India. The World Health Organization (WHO) pegs the figure at 35%.

Between 10 and 30% of all pharmaceuticals in developing countries are counterfeit, according to the 2006 WHO figures cited in the OECD report, which estimates that India is the biggest culprit in the spurious drugs market though other countries such as Egypt (7%) and China (6%) contribute to this menace.

I doubt it. As the patrons discovered, the staff at the fake store fails to live up to Apple's standards. That damages Apple's good name, something the company obviously doesn't appreciate. And China being China, how long will the fake store sell genuine Apple products before it decides to try to make even more money by selling fake apple products? Maybe they are already?
