Filmmaker Saqib Mausoof embarks on a journey "in search of Meluhha", a documentary that tells the story of "Indus Civilization through the eyes of its inheritors". Where was Meluhha? How Meluhha connects to Indus Valley Civilization (IVC)? How did the civilization disappear into the pages of history? We will ask Saqib what he discovered during his research while making the documentary. We will also ask Riaz Haq of www.RiazHaq.com, a writer and researcher about the irrigation systems, housing and urban development and technological innovations of people of South Asia 4000 years ago. Ali Hasan Cemendtaur will join us and talk about what he found out about IVC while attending a program at India Community Center (ICC) and organized by 1947 Partition Archive, where leading researcher on IVC Professor Jonathan Kenoyer talked about his latest discoveries.

Frankly speaking I don't have any interest in knowing who Kalash ppl are.

I came to this thread expecting some tourism related pictures. But unfortunately the OP was trying to mislead ppl here, and that's when I decided to post on this thread. And this is not the first time OP has claimed that Paksitan's gene pool has European contribution.

If you're talking about Aryan invasion theory then that myth has been debunked already. If at all some nomads, who had no knowledge of city planning, who lived in circular huts and who might have migrated to Indian subcontinent towards the end of Harappan period were Aryans, then in my knowledge those nomads got assimilated into the subcontinent's population.

Someone migrate and adopt host culture and live peacefully. Assimilation doesn't mean creating caste system to keep your blood line pure and at the same time forcing natives to do dirty work for you. Every so called assimilated Indian is well aware of caste system.

My posts on this thread had nothing to do with Hinduism. But you misconstrue one's posts on the basis of their flag, logic evades you and you have failed to comprehend what I had posted in my first post on this thread.

Because ancient aryan religion was forced on you by aryans, read mahabharat which was invented/composed by invading aryans. But now hindusim have little to do with ancient aryan religion apart from ancient resemblace.

Whatever, I think there is some religious connection somewhere in the past between Kalash and present day Hindus. By the way why @RiazHaq has put Kalash and Chital in different categories. Aren't Kalash people from Chital district?

I don't know..corrupt or not...but in my opinion, Hinduism is the best religion. It doesn't force anything on me and at the same time Hinduism gives me a sense of connection to the god that is hard to explain in plain words.

I have just read the history of kalash;it is paining to know most of them were tortured to convert to Islam(this is as recently as 1900)..there are only 3500 kalash who are following their pagan religion...if kings and rulers were so cruel even in 20th century to take oath that they would either convert people or kill them,we can understand how the mindset of these zealots was in 9th and 10th century...all these days when indians used to say that the ancestors of pakistan were raped and tortured to convert to Islam I was a bit skeptical to believe it..but now I strongly believe that this BS of sufi saints converting people is just hogwash.. Some low caste people might have converted to escape caste discrimination and some high caste families for perks in the kings court but majority of them were converted by sword.

Mallu aryan you are confusing Nuristanis of Afghanistan, they were indeed converted forcefully. And if force has been used then I can gurantee that not single hindu would have left alive in pure land by 1947. Even now there are millions of hindus in Pakistan.

Bibi you being south indian and hindu nationalist is the reason for your current identity crisis. There is nothing wrong with accepting the fact that Kalash are indeed one of original aryans, they speak aryan language and follow similar religion. And @scionoftheindus is mallu brahmin, he believe and think himself as brahmin and decendent of aryans. But he is actually just some random north/central indian who moved to south india.

Real aryans are Kalash people, we are preserving them for future when relations improves and Indians can visit for to worship their original aryan masters in Hindu Kush.
