Silent Eagle is a proposed upgrade of the F-15E strike fighter. I'll take an operational fighter over a proposed one any day. Besides, the roles of these two aircraft ar rather different and F-35 will serve as enabler for the F-15E in whatever guise.

what do you think if the U.S didn't develop F-35 which was designed to be a low cost $30,000 jack of all trades master of none, but focused on more specialist aircraft.
