nah,This is more to combat some of the more bogus topics here from the typical suspects.

I was suprised that the f-35 is stealthier than the f-22 though.

F-22 is a 12-15 years old plane.................materials and electronics have progressed by that time.But some stupid people do not recognize this.While it may not have the outer shape as optimized to stealth as f-22 but its ram should be many times better than f-22.

with regards to materials and electronics, id caution on assuming the f-35 is totally superior there just because of the article interviewing general mike hostage.

made the F-35 less stealthy than F-22.

You also need to remember than F-35 will be flying into the 2040s and so plenty of time to catch up in the field of electronics by China.

China will make a try at it, and kudos if they do, but the US has had decades of experience to refine its techniques and I doubt China's first try will be even as good as the f-35...
