Yeah that's my point. IK just used a general term and also said that fee concession will only be for just 9th November. But all the liberal brigade and Indians are jumpong up and down.

Bingo. As a PM do you think he is going to go into the minutae? When you say a 'passport' it is a very vague term. It could mean one slip of paper with few details. Or a 100 page detailed document. So he said "valid ID". Precisely what is valid could mean -

• permit [even exactly what this is can mean differant things"
  
• driving licence
• passport
• etc

I think what PMIK was saying was it would be made easier for Sikhs to go across Kartarpur. And I don't think the army disagrees with this. Neither should anybody else unless they think religious tourists are going to invade Pakistan. From what I understand the Kartarpur site will be sealed off and no visitor can leave the grounds of the gurdwara.

PMIK clearly said passports will not be needed few days after signing of agreement. Army later on clarified that passport are must. Now passport is required to visit Kartarpur.

Its corridor, we didn't hand over land to India. BJP intellectuals have already started dreaming about annexing Kartarpur.
