These N-League guys are whining about this for quit some time now. So I thought to open a thread and debunk it once and for all.

Lets go back to May 2013, the election month and look at NA-107 Gujrat. The man in focus here is Chaudhry Abid Raza Gujjar who contested on PML-N ticket for MNA, won the election and is MNA till date. Lets know a little about this dude.

ISLAMABAD: A Lashkar-e-Jhangvi-linked alleged terror suspect who has already spent five years in jail on murder charges and had known links with a slain al-Qaeda linchpin Amjad Hussain Farooqi is running for a National Assembly seat from Gujrat on a PML-N ticket.
Chaudhry Abid Raza Gujjar had been handed down death sentence under section 302 and section 7 of the Anti Terrorism Act 1997 for the murder of six people during a failed assassination attempt on the former Nazim of Gujrat, Ghulam Sarwar Bhooch, in 1998. His nomination papers for the upcoming elections were rejected by Returning Officer Malik Ali Zulqarnain Awan on April 6, 2013 after an independent candidate, Raja Haq Nawaz, took up his conviction on the murder charge as well as his alleged connections with some banned sectarian outfits, including the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) and Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP). Abid was also listed under Section 11 (E) of the 4th Schedule of Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 for his alleged involvement in terrorism-related activities. But strangely enough, he was cleared by an election tribunal of the Lahore High Court on April 18, 2013 to contest the general elections.

I use the word Apologist just in case for that. PMLN has indeed gone far enough to fielded Known supporter Candidate for that but TTP wasnt even Interested in Democracy on the first Place so Fielding a Candidate with PTI isnt even Possible.

He is the Interior minister of whole country not just one sects, he needs to devise Anti terror policy taking on board all those people who renounce violance on thier own.

@WebMaster You can check my previous posts, I never came down to sectarian anytime and always considers Shia-Sunni conflict in the prism of Arab-Persian wider politics, But here your administrator clearly showing that he is not representing Pakistan on this forum fully, More than Pakistan his loyalty belongs to his people and his sect. He cease to represent whole of Pakistan since he himself involves in past of sectarian turf wars in proper Jhang. His replacement is becoming more important & necessary after this clear admission.

You asked for PMLN relation with SSP/LeJ/ASWJ, I've presented it with proofs. The guy has a shaddy background and is a known sectarian terrorist. He was disqualified twice, spent 5 years in Jail and was sentenced to death. But all of a sudden, under free judiciary he got released and then cleared to contest elections by Lahore HC.
PMLN granted him ticket, and he's still sitting MNA. This is enough proof to shut you up. But look at you, still defending this moron.
This also expose the free judiciary and corrupt ECP badly.
