Couldn't have asked for a worse event on the eve of I day. There is still no news of trapped people. Helplessly, i cannot do anymore than to pray for the brave souls.

I sincerely hope the crew would be alive, hence their lives are more valuable than anything else. Indeed a tragic incident, just day before the independence day. Any news about the rescue operation of the crew yet??

Am I the only one thing the Russians have some serious explaining to do? The sub had already been in trouble on its way back to India and now this. Russians are not exactly known for their quality.

I think it's the GOI and the Indian defense establishment that have a lot of explaining to do. Lagging indigenous efforts coupled with princely sums spent on importing expensive foreign systems, and this is what India has to show right before her Independence Day?
