Because "I yam what I yam".
My parents introduced me to "Popeye the sailor man" as a kid; since I did'nt like spinach. Said it would make me "big & strong".
None of that happened!
But I grew up to love spinach.
So "I yam what I yam". (kind of like that statement---says a lot)
