Haven't we learnt anything from Covid? Biology doesn't follow any morality nor politics nor ideology. Monkey pox is hitting us because vector based diseases are directly correlated with climate fluctuations. This pox variant has been known for quite sometime and developed nations have stockpiles of vaxxines already, they should have given it to the African region where it is eminating from. As far as HIV is concerned then the same thing happened, it was thought it'll only affect a certain subset but it's only a matter of time before everyone became vulnerable, the same happened with Covid, the same will happen with monkey pox and others that will follow. We talk about the right side of history, well, it applies here too. Whatever category a person falls in, they're human beings. Our response should be of compassion and unity rather than what we are doing.

the photo in your first post talked about research , and raw data can easily be misleading , just like the old data about HIV that for more than 5-6 year gave the false idea that the disease is exclusive to gay communities.
as i said monkey pox is an old disease that each 10-20 year made an epidemic , the demographic and way of transmission is well known . the disease don't care you are male or female or gay , or lesbian or heterosexual or a virgin

what is not clear in data provided? figures are clear but i am full aware of contradictory utilitarian moral principles on west and those will be refurbished and twisted to appeal social groups that generate lot of money and has incremental influence on social norms. if it is up to science as criteria gays sex would not be promoted relentlessly for sure quite the opposite as they are still main group along the intravene drug enjoyers are main risk group for HIV.
