I don't think Azerbaijan would be in need of an alliance like NATO. We all know the obvious reason for that
But instead, we see Azerbaijan not purchasing major hardwares. Why? Well, for me at least, they might be waiting for Turkish industry to achieve maturity enough to be fully self-sufficient for Azerbaijan's needs.
TASMUS for Azerbaijan on the other hand, may have not received much media attribution even at here in PDF. But I can confidently say that when Azerbaijani military had signed for it, it have indeed become a strategically very very relevant project. I am sure our Russian friends may even ask for us to drop it one way or another. Because it was a hint to Russia that Azerbaijani military will be no longer under heavy Russian influence. I exclude the political drift here because they have their own Erdogan type leader in which completely is another topic. TASMUS simply is also a clear sign that Azerbaijan will put signature on the purchase or getting ToT of many Turkish hardwares in future that includes tanks, IFVs, helicopters,,you name it. Otherwise technically there would be no point to join the TASMUS system if it wasn't all about linking Azeri T-155s to Turkish Army. Isnt that right @cabatli_53 @Combat-Master @xenon54 @BordoEnes
