9/11 was an inside job for what....

To attack Afghanistan... Oh is Afghanistan a rich country or Afghanistan has some thing which US needs.

What was the reason for doing so?

What are the most important areas of concern for the US/NATO?

Let me help you:
- China.
- Pakistan (nukes).
- Iran.
- and, to a lesser extent, Russia.

Now take out an atlas and find which country is perfectly positioned close enough to all these areas. What a perfect place for a NATO base or, at least, a proxy puppet government! Especially considering the US base in Uzbekistan has been on shaky ground and is utterly dependent on Russia's whim.

But, longer term, NATO wants to outsource the job of managing Afghanistan over to India. NATO wants to prop up India as a regional power to counter China.
