China should smash Indians rather than arousing animosity against fellow East Asians.

There are 1.2 billion Indians. Also, the Indians are behind the Himalayas. This is a serious logistical problem and there are too many of them.

If it was easy, China would have already reclaimed South Tibet. This is a difficult problem to solve. The current plan is a good one. Let the Indian economy self-destruct. After one to two decades of stagflation, the Indians would be in no position to resist Chinese military power.

Anyway, using air power to smash Vietnamese air defenses is not necessarily critical. China can move into Vietnam in stages. For example, Chinese MLRS has a range of 400km. Therefore, China should destroy Vietnamese air defense targets up to 400km inside Vietnam.

For any short-range military targets up to 50km, China can use the PLZ-05 howitzer.

After weeks of softening up Vietnamese air and ground defenses, the PLA moves deeper into Vietnam and attacks the next 400km chunk of Vietnamese territory.

The interest on the $15 trillion U.S. debt is somewhere between $200 to $400 billion a year (depending on the interest rate). It's a lot of money!
