Eve-teasing: retired captain kills boy's parents for harassing daughter

Getting a gun in Pakistan is not hard.....if you don't have one...i would actually be surprised.

Does not equate to him killing the parents of the boy.....

No it doesn't.. it wouldn't even justify the killing of the boy.
But anger is a powerful thing..which is what I intended to point out.

.
I meant to point out that many army officer's tend to have licensed weapons after retirement.. are they able to keep licensed weapons due to their time with the army? Or did he get his weapon the normal way? Because I believe there is some policy that allows Army officers to have access to licensed weapons easier. In that case.. once out of the army.. they are still armed and as demonstrated here.. prone to all anger tendencies... and in this case.. they are well trained to use the weapon too.
perhaps once army officer's retire.. they should have to go through the same procedure to obtain a licensed weapon as the rest. In a way Im hinting at a possible overlook in arms policy by the Army.
Again.. this is all on the assumption that the man's army background allowed him to have access to a weapon more easily than say a normal civilian would. Although this argument is fairly fragile since weapon access in this country isnt too difficult provided you know where to look.

No Army in the world has the powers to issue licenses to anyone, whether serving in the Army or retired. Issuing of arms licenses is invariably the function of the civil district administration in conjunction with the civil police. Yes, sometimes, Army persons have an easier access to weapons and are issued weapons on priority from ordnance depots or even captured weapons. These weapons are non automatic types. However in order to retain them after retirement, regular arms licenses issued by the civil administration are mandatory. The Army is not to be held responsible for the actions of this hot head.

.
It is not the fault of the Pakistan Army when an individual commits a crime. It is impossible for a large organization to guarantee that every single person is perfect and law-abiding.

That said, the whole episode is a terrible tragedy. And the thing is, I suspect that the boy was exceptionally cruel to the girl. Children can be just flat-out mean to each other... I've never understood it.

Exactly, still news didn't clear what forced him to level of killing. May be two families couldn't reach over proper decision but any how he shouldn't take law into own hands.

.
He is retired so no links with PA.
Police and courts should make him example for other retired badmash officers and hang him asap.

i almost read such news where the army man are involved in killing people.. what the heck is it ? at least one should not expect this type of behaviour from a captain....
please post all such news here.. hope army takes this issue seriously and make some rules for the retired army men.. they are always found taking law into their hand.. and still they get out unscathed of the case...
so sad...
If he has killed chachora boy then he has done a good job. From name the captain sahab seemed to me a pashtun so he has did what he was supposed to do. In our culture it is unimaginable to tolerate teasing of your female members. Mere paas bi pistol he jo apni jaan o maal ki hafazat k ilawa aise ****** logo k liye b he jo zanana ko maili nazar se daikne ki jurat kare.

.
i would have done same if she was my daughter. But only the sob not the parents.

cant pass a verdict as ivdont know the level of harrasment the girl suffered and what chain of events happened when the girls father went to th boys house.

i would say an over protective father who would do anything for his daughter...
unlike a street criminal he himsrlf went to police and admitted his crime.

.
If he was an ex-armyman with high connections to evade any serious punishment for what he did ...he should have controlled himself and used his connections to get the boy arrested or warned seriously by the police etc. It seems the Captain had no respect for the sanctity of life.

.
i know the retired army officer went too far, but that stupid kid teased his daughter.
