Our problem is not that Erdogan's Turkey fight terrorists like ISIS. Our problem is Turkeys definition of possible 'terrorism'. Absolutely everybody could be a terrorist. Journalists, Rezensent, Oppositionists, Cartoonist...
You are right, but then again who cares?? Not our business how their leaders treat their own people. If the E.U wants to get a deal that will serve our interests, then carry on and sign it. If you want to look at every developing countries human rights and stop signing trade deals/cooperating with them because of their human rights record then we should stop all relations with China, Russia, KSA, gulf states, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, almost all of Africa, the middle east, etc etc.
In short, these E.U officials should cut the crap about human rights bullshits, that doesnt exist in Geo-politics. INTERESTS should always come first. Do we also have to teach our European brothers such basic geo political rules? Or maybe Germany will rather welcome more refugees on top of the millions it already has?
Finally, NO Turkey wouldnt and shouldn't be given any visa free travel to Europe, it will create a huge black market for Turkish passport by other north African and middle eastern/Pakistanis citizens in Turkey who are looking for ways to flock in here. Might as well open the floodgates for the refugees than doing this. Lol Anyway, we should leave things the way they are Turkey will never join the E.U as majority of them I understand dont want it anyway, so why bother with this issue? never change a winning situation. favourable trade deals and access to market can be signed, and refugees settlement deals as well, but no free visa or E.U access. THIS WILL ONLY complicate things for both countries.
