Look at the bigger picture..if China keeps on gifting pakistan free high tech weapons and weapons at low prices with friendship loans, it will easily allow pakistan to meet the challenges that india may pose. In fact, America is supplying pakistan with modern effective military tech in the war against terrorism. China is making sure it supplies pakistan with weapons to counter India asymmetrically. Those aren't a game changer. In naval forces India is already far ahead of Pakistan, and the gap is virtually impossible to close.

On the other hand, M-11s are definitely a game changer.

SSNs and SSBNs are two different things.

Considering India's ASW capabilities (arguably the best in Asia), SSNs are hardly a threat. But SSBNs are a major game changer because they would give Pak second strike capability. That would require a complete change in India's military doctrine.

Japan has the best ASW capabilities hands down besides the USN in Asia. India is not even close.
