Erecting a monument to Jinnah in Bangladesh

Lest face it, Jinnah was the pioneer of muslims freedom and identity in the Indian subcontinents and without Jinnah efforts back in 1947, there would be no Bangladesh today. While the Banglis haste to shamelessly erect a monument to Indra, whose actions indirectly led to massacare of thousands of Banglis however they have some explaning to do in regards with Jinnah.

I am looking for some rational arguments in this regards. Because if they refuse to recognise Jinnah, then Pakistan should rightfully invoice them for all expenses, investments and war losses incurred from 14-Aug 1947 uptil December 1971.

Make no mistake, I am a great admirer of Jinnah. Actually, the All India Muslim League was created in Dhaka, not Islamabad. And there the reasons for creating it were obvious. Of-course, there were other factors to take into account, the Brits loved to divide and conquer. And of-course make money from weapons.

People in Bangladesh would find the idea odd, maybe hostile. But then, it's a forgetful nation. I don't know exactly how many people in Bangladesh know that the All India Muslim League was created in Dhaka, and not Islamabad. And yet, Bangladesh was founded on 1971 based on Socialist principles. Ironic isn't it?

Of-course, Indian support for Mujib aside, there were other important factors that strengthened his cause.

What's more ironic is that the Awami League men, along with Mujib's sons resorted to mass looting of banks and whatever was left of what was known as East Pakistan. Add the massive amounts of aid money to that. Mujib's sons even used to go house-to-house kidnapping girls to force marry. One of the women was the wife of an army officer, his name was Major Dalim.

And yet people still wonder why Mujib's family was almost obliterated. Although, Mujib himself wasn't a bad guy, and a humble one at that. His sons lost their minds with all the money and power before them.

And of-course, the current ruling AL are extremely anti-Pakistan. If a monument of Jinnah is to be erected in Dhaka, Hasina will commit suicide. Yes dear, they are that extreme and very corrupt. The BNP is not anti-Pakistan, but it is close to China, but as far as being corrupt goes, they are no different. They aren't going by the vision Ziaur Rahman had.

The current AL regime is trying to manipulate history based on it's own whims. Even making Mujib a cult personality. So, erecting a monument of Jinnah is impossible right now. Apparently by the standards of the AL, the more anti-Pakistan one is, the more patriotic the person

Me? I think the idea of erecting monuments of people is odd. Frankly, I am indifferent to it. He'll live in my memory as well as in the memories of others who knew him, read about him and history It doesn't matter how hard the AL tries to manipulate history, or how much Indian tax payer money go into them.

With all due respect to Jinnah this is not true. We Indians hate Indira because of her 1984 anti-sikh operations and riots but how is SHE responsible for thousands of Bangladeshis? If anything She saved them from rapists and murderers of Pakistani Army. So please don't start this.

it is actually opposite. I find PDF bangladeshis are more rational than common bangladeshis. They debate rationally. Common bangladeshis use bad words if india comes to the discussion. Lol. Find a friend of yours who know bangla, i will give adress of Bangla blogging sites. Check yourself then.
