Time depends on the amount of hurt in German interests.

Bratain leave EU, Germany seek to take more power / leadership in Euroep and nearby region issues. That's the reason I think Germany made the comment about Kurds issue.
But in Europe and Middle East, Germany is just a shadow leader, America is the real one. Germany may seek to cooperate with Russia, this is what influencesTurkey have to carefully consider. My two cents, Germany still need to be humble in relevant issues.
