Well Islam doesn't work on your assumptions. What is the guarantee that the family which has 10 children won't get better income in future

In future i am talking about the near future which will have better toys as kids,will go to better schools,will be able to afford a car,go to trips,afford university if their income is to increase at the same pace?

Family planning is not allowed in Islam. That is crystal clear only gap between children could be done due to health reasons other than that sorry for fear of poverty or lack of sources you are just challenging ALLAH. He can reduce your sources even with smaller population their is no guarantee.

Only if Allah would feed the millions of hungry muslim kids....alas,he does not so he sends them to Europe for food,some even wash up on Turkish shores trying to reach Europe....

Wait what? dude population is a really big problem of muslim country's just look at it nearly in every muslim family there are 6-8 kids this creates a burden not only on the head of the family but on the country too and most of the muslim country's are not rich enough to feed so many mouths take us as an example our population is increasing at an alarming rate we're not taking it serious in the next 10-20 years you can't imagine the problems our country will face if we don't control our population we need a population control from where did the west came in this? this is simple logic i guess :/ @Jungibaaz @django @Zibago guys your input?

No doubt, we need a rethink on family planning, managing population growth, and contraceptives is one thing. The real leap forward is women's rights, every society that delivers that sees their population growth becoming manageable.

Anyone advocating large population growth and large families as something people should strive to achieve en masse are detached from the reality of the world and the sheer scale of problems that come with a large population.

Well family planning is not allowed in Islam but some delay in child for health reasons can be done. But if a person is doing it because he fears How he or she is going to feed the child than that is shirk in Islam which is the biggest sin.

Women's rights lead to low birth rate. Case in point, Russia, Japan, China, South Korea, North America. The US and Canada and Australia and New Zealand population grow because of immigration, not because of natural population growth, which is less than 2 the replacement rate.

2.1 is the replacement birth rate for many countries, probably the same for Turkey. If Erdogan is talking about Turkey then he is well within his right to do so but he is talking about Muslims in general which also includes Indian Muslims and there in lies the catch.

As for religious and societal ramifications for a high birth rate, I'd leave it to the third world citizens to look around and judge for themselves.

Erdogan is talking from Turkish perspective ....May be Turkish population slowdown. But , Pakistan,Bangladesh,India has " population time bomb" ...cities are already over populated, shortage of water, food shortage , more food adulteration. Unhealthy generation to come. Birth need to be controlled . We have success story of China , one child policy.

As if anything he is saying will change something, it doesnt even affect anything in Turkey how would it affect somewhere else?

The only reason hes saying this is that Turkish economy needs fresh blood to keep the high growth rate which slowed down in recent years, he asked every couple to have at least 3 children a couple years ago but birth rate is still falling as Sinans graph show.

I dont understand this irrational fear mongering about a statement that wont change anything anyway, muslims arent going to make babies just because Erdogan told them, most are doing it anyway.
