On a different note, if you would allow me, I would like to congratulate you for becoming an International Mod for the Bangladesh section. A desert dweller had banned me earlier, and seeing the low IQ levels of most members in this forum (which surprisingly attracts a lot of Bangladeshis of similar IQ levels but very few intelligent Bangladeshis - MBI Munshi being one such example of a 'luminary' and intelligent poster, even though I do not agree with him on every single issue), I had decided to bid this forum adieu.
Thankfully, now that there is a relatively unbiased Bangladeshi mod in place, I hope things will improve, and I also hope you will put all the enemies of Bangladesh and all the Indian agents in their rightful place.
Having said all that, I do not agree with you on all issues either. I hope that will set a standard for 'intelligent Bangladeshis' (and non-agents of foreign countries like India or whoever else) to follow. We may not agree on each and every single issue, and in fact, may share very few traits in common, but we have to support Bangladesh's identity as envisaged in 1905, 1947, and subsequently in numerous other episodes in 1975 and 1991, for examples.
Under no circumstances can the aspirations of the 85-90% majority population be subverted by a relatively small number (about 600,000 as per senior journalist, former BBC employee Sirajur Rahman) of active RAW agents in Bangladesh.
I am out of this forum alright (mostly because of the low level of 'intellectual discourse' from all the backward peoples be they the nation of most illiterates, hungry, sanitationless and "Nanga Sadhus", or be they 'desert dwellers', "nomadic Mongols", "hillbilly cowboys" and so on. Granted the number of ignorant and low IQ Pakistani members is also high, that is not unexpected because it is THEIR NATIONAL defence/military related forum. All the foreigners are mere guests..
Congrats to you again, though, I would have liked somebody like MBI Munshi (Bhai) with his vast real life experience, knowledge, acumen, academic credentials and network of connections at the higher rungs of BD and foreign society, to be a better representative of the aspirations of Bangladesh's 85-90% population.
In the end, you too have your strengths, and your relative political unbiasedness in matters of Bangladeshi domesic politics is one such strength. Personally, I would have just preferred that the most intelligent (or more internationally travelled) people like you (and some others I would not name) would take a strong, principled stand in favour of Bangladesh even if it clashes with that of India or whoever else. Pakistan is of little concern to us at the moment, 1971 is water under the bridge, even though some wounds take a long time to heal, I would reckon a sincere official government approved apology to Bangladesh (NOT BAL) would do much to remove many barriers, in the end, we have surpassed Pakistan and India in most indicators of development, and the remaining few that we have not surpassed them in, we will probably surpass them in the near future Inshallah.
It's high time we pursue a more pro-active foreign policy (hint: China=big brother, Bangladesh=little brother, but China-Bangladesh=brotherhood) to rein in the designs of Hindutva extremists, give freedom to suppressed "North Eastern" seven states, and level West Bengal at the first sight of any malicious intent from the Chanakyabadi terrorists and deceptive Hindutva radicals intent on raising the flag of Saffron terror in Bangladesh.
Congrats again.
Thank you very much.
To sum it up, Bangladesh lacks a working defense and national security policy. This is why it is vulnerable from external influences and threats. Hence, it becomes difficult to make people who work for foreign third parties accountable.
Bangladesh must formulate a working defense policy if it is to remain stable and contain external threats.
As far as Awami League is concerned, it can never rise above petty party politics. That is for sure.
