That grass was probably bought at 500% of its actual price, the contractor charged 200% of its actual labor.
Of that the actual seller of the grass probably got 20% of the price and contractor got 15%(Unless a PPP party member or relative of one).

yeah i agree we need more and more trees and this place should be full of trees and if there is grass under the trees it will be great .

I stopped trying to maintain the grass in my lawn and went with a kind of ground cover plus natural grass. Very low Maintenance and haven’t watered the yard in years despite the previous owners having installed an in-ground sprinkler system.

Saved tons of money on my water bill and it’s more environmentally friendly because no weed killers or fertilizer used, no chemical runoff and of course thousands of gallons of water saved.
