Now days during election campaign some political parties are being seen on TV for advertisement purpose. Even during prime time, their advertisements have become more common than advertisements of commercial companies.
The average length of their ads is one minute and often you'll see back to back ads. Every channel is broadcasting these advertisements dozens of times every day. Whereas we all know that television airtime is so expensive. Following political parties are buying airtime much efficiently:
1) Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf
2) Pakistan Muslim League (N)
3) Pakistan Peoples Party
4) Jamat e Islami
1-Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf
We all know that PTI didnt form government in past nor they joined partially to any government. Therefore we can easily admit that they were never involved in corruption at government level. Then who is funding to them for such huge advertisement on television? Keeping in view their campaign is being run on internet too.
2-Pakistan Muslim League (N)
PML-N has formed government multiple times & all know that Mian Nawaz Sharif has a lot of money and have several businesses. They can run election ads.
3-Pakistan Peoples Party
PPP also has formed government multiple times and Asif Ali Zardari has almost 6 billion in Swiss accounts. They can run media election ads too.
4-Jamat e Islami
All know that Jamat e Islami do not have feudal. I think their members belong to middle class but they are also run media blitz. Although their ads are not telecasting frequently but question raises that how have they been funded for such election ads?
My questions are following:
Q1: The daily expenses of these advertisement campaigns are estimated almost Rs. 200 Million. From where these political parties has brought this money?
Q2: If money is being spent by their candidates then question is raises how would these political parties overcome to corruption because their candidates will recover their own money first which they have already spent?
Q3: If money are not being spent by their candidates then who is funding this money? What if foreign powers are going to spend this money?
Q4: If they are being funded by foreign powers then would they not be blackmailed by those powers? And how they could serve to people sincerely?
