If Rakhine are the majority in that region, they surely deserve a better voice in Arakan.

It is sad to watch things devolve like this and Myanmar Govt. will have a their hands full with insurgency in that state. I hope that their Govt. had handled things more diplomatically. Unfortunately Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has to go by populist views on this in Myanmar which by propaganda favors oppression on Muslim minorities.

I see you edited this. Not only is it backwards, I am willing to bet that a majority of your intelligent countrymen on this forum believe islam is dragging your country back.
