1, they dont all of the civilians love the army its something in our blood
2, they have all the power the army is back in barracks and now its the govt era next time not martial law but imran khan is coming
3, military is just interested in themselves they only come when the people need help from natural disasters or lack of doctors you know stuff that will kill people
4, three words war on terror... its really expensive and still our economy is moving forward slowly but surely
5, they r getting their rights too but ofcourse when soo many things are messed up it will take time


the fact is egypt will never become pakistan bcz we are way too high for them. egypt in its prime counldnt hadle the war we have handles for 11 years they could never even survive the plague of terrorism and ofcourse they cant even afford to make israel their enemies. maybe egypt should hang their head in shame as they bowed down to their enemies.

And I don't think so. These people don't have a problem with the US per say, in fact they were US allies before (these guys are nationalists and pro army) . I think they're just worried about the rise of salafi groups inside the country.

they are not referring to salfi/wahabi, they are referring to Pak-US relationship..
and we dont see rise of salfi/wahabisim(both are different things by the way) in Pakistan..we see some extremism regarding shia and spill over effects of afghan war ..and massive corruption thats not uncommon in democracies in third world

For starters egypt.. You cannot be called Pakistan yet because.

1. You are a nation.. Pakistan is a collection of nations.
2. Your state is still pretty much existent... Pakistan.. well the less said the better.
3. Your society is still very intact.. people are not going about murdering for no reason..
4. Even though you compromised on Israel with the US, your military still is extremely potent with the latest and greatest in Western equipment save BVR weaponry... the same cannot be said of Pakistan.

So Egypt.. while you may never meet the first condition.. that only we Pakistanis are capable of..
The second and third depend upon how your countries Unity, Faith and Discipline persevere.
We really worked hard to destroy ours.. I mean come to our capital and see the partial face(one eye,part of his hat, etc) of our great leader on the main highway(the rest has been washed away by rains, neglect. .theft..etc)..
So if you can work this hard, your generals be this thick.. your feudals be this abundant.. your Mullah's be this fervent..
You may one day inspire to become like Pakistan..
But till then, you have no chance.. so stop dreaming and get a life.

I don't think Pakistanis should take it as a insult directed at them, Yes it says " Egypt will not be Pakistan" they could of meant many different things i guess, maybe the rise of Wahabism, or the US military acts against the people of Pakistan, or maybe Taliban group in Pakistan they dont want to it to be in Egypt, because we all know USA is terrorism itself, it support terrorism in Pakistan. And this was pointed at US visit....

Plus Egypt has nothing against Pakistan at all, they never been at war or anything like that, so they don't really mean it as an insult to Pakistan.

Well, i am just back from work and i read all your comments. All i can say is you are very insecure bro. You need to get a life. People are protesting against freaking mixing religion with politics. It has nothing to do with US aide or what you been crying about. Egyptians say they don't want a theocracy like Iran or Saudi Arabia. They say they don't want to be ruled by Hamas because of Hamas affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood. I don't see any Iranians, Saudis, or Palestinians being so insecure like you. I don't think Egyptians been protesting in the streets for a year and half to build a theocracy or to leave the country in the hands of the Generals and Mullahs with the approval the US and the world. You owe Egyptians an apology.
