Guys i am having a good day so far, and you are ruining it for me. Can you fight another day please ?!!
It is still a great day! What we, in Algeria couldn't accomplish with the fundamentalists horde, politically, due to a president enamored by GCC cultural desert, I trust that the Egyptian will give them a deserved paifull political death. Qatar has seen its first victim, hope Egypt will witness the second, Saudi Arabia the forth followed by Jordan...

Morsi to Egyptian people: I was democratically elected, constitution must be upheld - Middle East - Israel News | Haaretz Daily Newspaper

Addressing the Egyptian people on television late Tuesday night in speech that lasted 45 minutes, Morsi vowed to stay in office, insisting he was elected by the people in free and fair elections, and that "democratic legitimacy" is the only guarantee against violence.

Morsi said he would defend the legitimacy of his elected office with his life and urged Egyptians to reject challenges to the legal order. Morsi conceded his first year in office had been difficult and he faced challenges from corrupt remnants of the old regime.

"My life is the price for protecting the legitimacy," he said. "If my blood was the price to maintain legitimacy, then I am ready for this for the sake of this nation's stability."

Dudes, there are 30 million Egyptians on the streets protesting against their government i'm sure they know better than you what would be better for their country.

I am sure they have some good reasons for doing this!

who are you to Judge the great Egyptian people??

Either show respect and solidarity or be silent because you really are disrespecting them.

Tricky guy. Yes, he was democratically elected - but the Constitution was a farce, with at most 20% of the eligible voters voting in favor of it - turnout was low and opposition great for reasons the Egyptians here can describe.

Morsi is trying to squirm out of the Egyptian people's evolution: he was elected to be a democratic leader, not a Pharaoh, not a Nasser, not a mouthpiece for tyranny.

@Mahmoud_EGY

bro, what will happen when Morsi is gone? will the MB start a bloodshed? because I heard many MB and Salafies threaten Egypt if Morsi is gone... what do you think?

They don't care whether Morsi gone or not. The parliament is filled with full of Islamist and Salafist while the NSF and the socialist are in the lowest one Morsi positioned them in, that's why the Islamist like Nour, Watan or Abu Ismail wanted Morsi out because they said they were confident about the next election. BTW, those people are extreme anti Shiite, they already stated it will never allow Iranians in Egypt. They are just like Mubarak, so why do you care? Egypt wants election every minute, if Morsi allies win chaos and if opposition allies win choas again. Army needs to step in politics and force them to do dialogue. The imbeciles don't want to wait for three years for democractic elections because they cannot resist their 'jealousneas' by giving him a chance, but they kept causing choas to prevent him from doing something.

simply no culture of democracy and tolerate others . in last 100 days they never give a single month mursi to work .gov was busy in constitutional issue political issue mubarak court and tahrir demonstrations . new born gov need some time to even understand problems man . 3 men ruled egypt 65 years with full powers and no one have leading rule . they are not capable to run it very easy and quickly . also Egyptian public got new freedom so they are doing it as hobby or exercise every month 1 million march
Not even one protest was organized against Morsi before he issued his constitutional declaration which allowed him to force a constitution that doesn't protect human rights, freedom of speech, and it doesn't give all parties the same chance in any elections. Egyptians have been suffering for more than 2 years, so settling this is not an option. Human rights are RIGHTS and they are worth the fight. In the long run this will be good for Egypt.

Morsi said he rejected it and will stay for the sake of democracy. Well, he is a supreme leader who co'ordinates with the army officials. When Sisi said about the deadline, then Morsi rejected it publicity. Nothing happens next, something fishy going on here? Like I said he co'ordinate with the army officials because he's a supreme leader. Unlike, others who doesn't.

dude, were not Egyptian people who elected MB just last year to rule the country ?..it is still legitimate democratic right of MB to rule country..Just one single year later demand from MB to leave and to apply pressure on MB by Army and police force just is raping democracy and bombing the foundation of stability of Egyption...as Army give ultimatum, opponents attack and destroy MB headquarter, centers, branchs and critic members of MB while Police in collaboration with opponents and dont provide MB any protection..

Toppling MB will add more large problems to existing ones and will not provide Egypt any stability but deteriorate things more much..... MB is the oldest, th most organized and strongest opposition front of the country..

Now, it seems everyone will be happy after MB is toppled...all opponents parties, Army, police, media, West, EU, Israel, Iran, GCCs Salafis and almost entire of universe.

How it is possible so many paradoxes could be together in harmony?...Some ones may be win but what a pity that Egytians will be loser side of this turmoil..A new other frustration is on the way after MB toppled just like one after dictator Mobarak being ousted....

(Reuters) - Egypt's army commander and Islamist President Mohamed Mursi each pledged his life to defy the other as the hour approached on Wednesday that will trigger a military takeover that was prompted by mass demonstrations.

The military chiefs issued a call to battle in a statement headlined "The Final Hours". They said they were willing to shed blood against "terrorists and fools" after Mursi refused to give up his elected office. Mursi said, "The price ... is my life."

Stuff getting real really fast it seems. Deadline runs out today at 5 pm, that is 7 and a half hours from the timestamp on this post.

Iranians are happy, like the alternative will be any better to them, they just can't learn their lessons and from the constant slapping on their faces  In fact Mosri is the best they can get as others will be much more worse to them, MB are lenient with Iran and I don't like that. Good riddance MB. To hell..:yahoo:

Yep we should also hand over Jordan to Islamist and Muslim Brotherhood...

Stupidity amazes me!

Yes they would prove to be far better than others who have already ruled Jordan and have done nothing much for Jordan and its people

That's really sad, Egypt is being destroyed by it's own people. Mubarak was a corrupted dictator but the candidates to the presidency aren't any better. After all the sacrifices in the uprising, Egyptians mainly voted for two people, Shafiq who happen to be an another Mubarak, and Morsi who happen to be a gullible MB member, and the latter won. It's up to them, at least we all know it's not an external power or a dictator regime are doing this but rather Egyptians themselves. All we can do is to pray for them.
