Again Al-Ibryah fake news .
Egypt walked out of a round of global nuclear talks in protest Monday, saying other nations are not acting quickly enough to establish the Middle East as a zone free of nuclear weapons.
A statement from Egypts Foreign Ministry said the nation ended its participation in two weeks of Geneva talks out of frustration that the zone has yet to be created. The talks run through this week.
We can't wait forever for the implementation of this decision, said the ministry's statement Monday night, explaining that Egypts walkout was meant to send a message to the world that it can no longer accept what it considers to be a lack of seriousness on the issue.
But establishing the Middle East as a zone free of nuclear weapons has long been an elusive goal.
The Geneva talks, which have included no negotiations on such a zone, are meant to prepare for the next major review of the 1970 Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty in 2015. Such reviews are held once every five years.
The NPT, which has been signed by 190 nations, is the worlds single most important pact on nuclear arms, credited with preventing their spread to dozens of nations since it was adopted. Israel and Iran, along with North Korea, India and Pakistan, remain outside the treaty.
At the 1995 review, nations adopted the goal of a nuclear-free Middle East, in a concession by the U.S. and others to the Arabs, who wanted Israel to join the treaty and to give up its unacknowledged arsenal of nuclear weapons. In exchange, the Arabs backed the treaty's permanent extension.
But after 15 years of inaction on a nuclear-free zone, Egypt proposed that the 2010 conference endorse launching negotiations to establish one. With no talks started, Egypt said Monday that some other members of the treaty - and non-members - are obstructing the goal. Though it did not specify, the reference to non-members was seen as implying Israel.
Ahead of the Geneva talks to prevent the spread of nuclear arms, the U.N. Security Council's five major powers - Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States - had again called for progress in establishing a nuclear-free Middle East.

I'd be surprised. You never know though, Iran may back down. There's no evidence still that they're working towards a nuclear weapon. All the reports just indicate that if they take this further step they could possibly build a weapon. All the intelligence community has is 'ifs' and 'ands'.

for information Iran is signatory of NPT and is part of it as a matter of fact Iran was a founding nation of NPT as it is a Founding nation of UN . also Iran is the must vocal supporter of Middle east without Nuclear weapon and the must vocal country against chemical weapon in all of the world

Establishing A Middle East(ME) free of nuclear weapons would be a great thing for the region, and its future. For this to happen, Israel must give up its nukes. If they don't, then nobody should blame Iran, if they they develop nuclear weapons. After all, they are trying to protect their own citizens. Saying that, i hope all the countries in the ME work together on creating a nuclear free ME.
I know Israel is hated by all its neighbors, but that hate is due to: 1) Israel policies. 2) Extremism which use Israel's policies as an excuse to spread their hate. Israel's policies makes it so hard for Liberal's- like myself- to defend Israel, and its right to live without being threaten to be annihilated, or "erased off the map". Saying that, if Israel doesn't start give up its nukes, others in the ME will keep trying to get nukes too, and they will eventually. Then, everybody will lose.Umm, all you have to do is spend 2mins reading this forum to see why Israel needs what it may have.
I can tell you now there is no chance in hell that Israel would open themselves up to invasion.
Perhaps after a 100 year long peace they may decide to reduce capacity.
Only Egypt and KSA are capable.
I think MB would peruse obtaining nuclear weapons, however, Egypt do have and develop Chemical and Biological weapon. As for KSA, it will obtain WMD including Nuke as soon as Iran have it. Some reports say that KSA already have it, but I doubt the credibility of such news. Nevertheless, Israel was going to raid KSA missiles silos 3 times before USA prevented it, yet, those missiles must had unconventional warheads that made Israel try to raid them. Not sure though. @Yzd Khalifa

This isn't about Iran, Its about Egypt. P.S Al-Arabiay reporting Geneva Press

a Shiite Arab militia, accompanied by Bedouin from a nearby village, attacked the Jewish agricultural settlement of Tel Hai - 8 Jews killed
Yes, the Egyptians possess a huge arsenal of Chemical and Biliogical weapons.
Egypt has developed various sorts of ballistic missiles. Some Missiles can carry nuclear war heads ,now we're done with the delivery system.
Hypothetically, the MB wouldn't be the sole advocate for nuclear weapon ,but rather the entire political elites, yes including the liberal ones. With the current economic situation, The MB might bankroll the revival of their program, remember the MB has invested millions and millions of dollars domestically and internationally. If worse comes to worst, the MB allied itself with a few rich countries, and now we are also done with financing their program.
Folks, let me bring to your attention that Egypt has aplenty of ultra professionals ,take the former Head of the IAEA for example.
With finance and tech know-how Egypt can go nuclear very easily.
KSA is a different story Black. We have also been accused of developing WMDs while our leaders make anti-WMD statements .
And Yes, the Israelis had an intension to attack us :p
Mr. Jonathan Scherck lost his post for not keeping his mouth shut. He could have a better life if he did ,especially for someone who knows that many congressmen and women are under KSA payroll.

There is no policy that will suit. We were attacked before settlements, before occupation and before the state of Israel.
Battle of Tel Hai - March 1920
We have been under attack every day since.
Don't ruin every thread with your damned fake entity lies!
