This one had to make an emergency landing because of technical issues.

They're also building a huge military airport attached to the El Arish airport in northern Sinai where they'll operate several squadrons of UCAVs/UAVs and attack helicopters (most likely a combination of Apaches and the new Ka-52s) for counter terrorism ops in Sinai.

The CH-5 has some size to it and very respectable weapons load.

Not yet, but with the way they're crunching cretins left and right, west, east and south and now dedicating specific bases in 3 different sectors just for unmanned aircraft, we're bound to see them sooner or later. The WingLoong was actually operational for close to 6 months prior to them releasing any info on it. You know how secretive they are about this kinda stuff. We don't even know how many WingLoongs they've purchased if it wasn't for a satellite pic where we saw 8 of them on the tarmac.

The aircraft has a load of up to 1 ton of ammunition and missiles with up to 16 missiles distributed at 6 suspension points below the wings. It also allows the installation of reconnaissance and aerial survey systems with a range of up to 80 km. Pakistan desperately needs a boat load of these and place them along the pakistan afgunistan border.

We should make a tech transfer agreement with the chinese, build a factory or two and start pumping out these babies by the dozens. Our pilots' lives are far too valuable to lose to some lucky cockroach with a cheap shoulder-launched SAM. They can shoot down all the drones they want, we'll have plenty more where those came from.

If there is any border in the world that could use these, it's the very challenging Pakistan/Afghanistan one. Then there can be a beautiful traffic jam in the sky between Pakistani UAVs and US Predators roaming for cretins.

Especially after losing one of the Block 52's near Libya a while back. While it's not confirmed that it was a MANPAD, it's still a threat for sure.

If they've been building the ASN-209 since 2012, they can easily do what you just suggested.
