Turkey and Pakistan (specially) are different because despite up and down, they beat west in their own game of cunning Diplomacy, while giving not much in return Except hopes. That’s why US is so frustrated with Pakistan. Plus both countries have decent militaries.

Egypt has F-16s, Mig-29s, Mirage-2000 & Rafale but their best BVR (not on F-16) is R77 or MICA. Also they don't have any HOBS air-air missiles.
