Ministry of Interior handles FC where as Ministry of Defence looks after Pakistan Army. Ijaz Ahmed Shah is head of Ministry of Interior where as Pervez Khattak is leading Ministry of Defence. Both ministries have different budgets and are managed separately. Army has no need to intervene in Ministry of Interior and snatch allocations made towards FC for Army itself neither Army has any motives to weaken FC since FC forms the inner ring in most of the operations conducted through planned Ops or IBOs.

Ijaz Ahmed Shah is responsible for this, not COAS.

Has Ijaz Ahmed Shah requested MRAPs for FC from this EME depot ?

MRAPs aren't available at cheap so that they can be given to Paramilitary like that. There will be a requirement of a workshop in many cantonments to service those MRAPs along with qualified teams who can do that. Keeping in mind for the availability of parts as well.

FC got tanks, artillery and even helicopters, not sure if a handful are still in service. How did that happen?

There is no solution.even if we do large scale operation, it will bring peace for some months. They will come back again and start the same hide and seek games. You have to bring back all Baloch leaders to Pakistan and do something for the progress of balochistan. You have to persuade Baloch leaders that everything will be provided to Baloch as well specially jobs, education and better life. We just can't win this type of insurgencies. Time to think about permanent solution.
