The thing is countries in the region are either too weak or they rely on other world powers(U.S, Russia, E.U or China) for their military. So they cant really stand against any of this world power even in their own backyard. So they can't do anything EVEN IF THEY REALLY WANTED TO.

Iranian Militias Suffer Casualties In Ghouta

Three members of the Fatimiyon militias were killed as a result of fighting with the Syrian opposition factions in the eastern Ghouta in the Damascus countryside.

Iranian media reported that the Fatimiyon militias suffered casualties as a result of their battles alongside the regime forces during attempts to advance on the eastern Ghouta fronts recently.

It explained that the dead are: «Sayed Hassan Sharifi, Jean Ali Qurbani, and Abdullah Sruri», who came from the Iranian city of Mashhad.
