Earnest Request to Indian Members

Of late one reads a lot of equipment / manpower specific threads here .

I have noticed a number of posts by Indians which volunteer information. Agreed , a lot may already be in the public domain yet one needs to exercise caution while discussing or explaining things.

I request all Indians to kindly refrain from creating posts beyond C&P of news articles .

In the exuberance to ' show' knowledge or win an argument inadvertent disclosures may be made.

Winning an argument here is of no consequence.

Every posted word is read and analysed carefully .

I leave it to those who read this to draw their own conclusions but I hope the theme is conveyed correctly.

I don't think people on the forum have that extra information which matters.Most of the information here is cross posting of stuff from the public domain.

Most of what is discussed here is a best a simplistic representation of real facts. The devil lies in the details which can never be given out without stating exact numbers..

All i can say is either way ,if overstated or understated it helps in the disinformation and keep the anti party guessing.

sometimes actual stuff does come out ,but i dont think it lingers arnd for too long or remains relevant.

Not everyone is equal at using the internet to find more info. And neither is everyone equal at reading between the lines.
And I don't think RAW or HAL agents are allowed to post on forums

I havent read any sensitive information here to be honest.All info being shared here is 3-4 yrs old..The rest is all procurement stuff.

Those who share these info need to be really careful if they do...I would say much more careful on FB..and this is nothing other Indian Forums which has Army officers and Defence reporters shares info on much deeper level and these things are accesable to everyone enemy ground or not.

If we have to talk about censoring most of the stuff we write then i guess the same thing applies to Indian Forums too...You know BR is accessable from Pakistan too.
