Check the link.They are specially showing protest held in Karachi not in any other part of the world.The decision to withdraw the contest has arrived after the statement of PM khan.All left and right wing media sources are considering Khan's statement and the cartoon withdrawal as mutually exclusive event.

TLP and Khadim Hussain Rizvi has definitely earned a lot of goodwill and trust of Pakistanis. PM Imran Khan and govt. should also be praised for dealing this issue with sensitivity.

There are special laws for holocaust denials, where even if someone misinterprets reducing or changing the no.s of holocaust dead could end up in jail in European countries. Dutch and there radical terrorist Wilders will continue to pursue there agenda and provoke.

Pakistan and Turkey need to lobby and establish a law in UN to tackle with the far right radicals of Europe. Unless they fear legislation or any other legal challenge they'll continue their morbid activities.

For all you naysayers, boycott (and more importantly the threat of it) is the only thing that works.

That's exactly my point, it's a regular occurrence for other religions. The fact that we get offended and create such a ruckus via our protests is what makes blasphemy against the haqq far less common.

When was the last time someone had a televised, written about in newspapers, broadcaster around the world, public story about a drawing contest aimed at mocking Hindu deities, Buddha, or Zoroastrian Gods?

Those religions are irrelevant, the only ones that people care about are Christianity, Islam and Judaism because they've had and still have the most global influence.

Also, Hinduism has been mocked pretty frequently, even by mainstream celebrities.
