What's new

DRDO's AESA radar for tajas mk2 is derived from Israeli EL/M 2052

Nope. But who cares! As long as it kicks the but of its enemies.
...

Well there are many Indian developed systems , with many foreign components.

Even the f35 has some Chinese components :)

For it to kick anything, it needs to be operational fully with IAF. Too bad it isn't.

You are a think Tank Bro.. You do everything but Think!!
It was a legitimate question.

Is there anything pure Indian in this plane? Except for brain farts?
yes, many components are pure Indian... but i like JV as it will give more advanced technology to india... being JV we can develop next gen. of equipment with our scientist will get experience on it...

Thank God..

I have been saying this for so long. Finally this cr@p about indigenous radar will end. There never was any need to reinvent the wheel again when we have the better alternative available.

enough said, India innovate its own stuff :stop:

There is a saying...buy, beg, borrow or steal. As long as it serves the purpose any measure is welcome. Every country does it...and India isn't an exception.

BUT... BUT...BUT.. most of the Indians claim otherwise, all are made in India :yes4:

Be it collaboration or bought (ToT)...the parts will be made in India. So calling it Made in India isn't wrong.

These days nothing are solely made in one country or company...open an LG TV you will find parts from Samsung, Philips etc. Apple iphone has parts made by Samsung and LG. Don't expect anything solely made by one company or country. There is no point fighting on it. Grow up...
