not sure why you feel that drones would not follow the rules of war . there is still a human behind that machine making the decision to fire. I would say the collateral damage is getting more and more less because of the precision nature of weapons. also currently the nature of weapons carried by these drones are smaller and of a more of limited radius. I do agree that the way we use it in Pakistan is controversial because it is not being deployed in a " war theater" ... there is some ambiguity there that needs a strong debate .

Exactly, I don't know why people try to paint drones as inherently evil as there is always a "man in the loop". Drones are a weapons system like any other- blame the policy behind their use but not the technology.
