Well about that rifle - "a friend" tell me that they couldn't sort out the porting caliber issue yet ....!!!
In his exact words The dam thing is comparable to any world class weapon if you use same caliber ammo. But if you wish to change it on field then its giving problems.


+ apart form that can you tell me why we are considering 6.8mm ??? To get Best of 5.56 and 7.63 in one cartage ???

Wrt the specific issues the DRDO's multi-cal is facing, I couldn't tell you bro. All I know is that the IA has conducted initial range and field trials with the system.


Regarding the 6.8mm, it is supposed to be a compromise between the 5.56 and 7.62 as in a "one size fits all" solution but the way the DRDO/IA are going about it they want their rifles to be compatible with all 3 rounds which doesn't make a huge amount of sense to me.
