Dr Moeed Yusuf appointed special assistant to PM on national security

It was the Indian embassy in Washington with the help of their lobbying firms that were painting him as an ISI agent. He enjoys a good reputation in professional circles and worked with Pakistan military establishment before on American/west related strategic issues. That's why they went after him.
yea, that cretin fair or christina fair the................ was behind it.

Indians would go after any Pakistani in west, even if he's a student.
Those Pakistanis who are employed in west, are without doubt on hit list of Indians.
A man working in US university is surely a PIA for Indians. They would surely malign him.
However, when the individual is an undercover CIA, don't expect CIA chief sending message to modi to stop maligning certain person of Pakistan origin.
History of chap says, he was already launched in Pakistan... so he was their to make his presence felt. Otherwise, why would any educated person would comeback and open a private consultancy firm related to state economy... was govt. using his consultancy services? If yes than through what channels?
Imran Khan is clearly acting as dictator, he can't take decisions by passing national security council... what was the urgency in IK mind?

Have you ever heard the guy’s view and know about his active efforts to promote Pakistan’s point of view in Washington?
Yes i am following his interviews from past several years. There are many wrong calculations of betting on wrong people. Ashraf Ghani and Hamid Karzai are few examples. We have a history of appointing wrong people and ignoring those who bear for us.

@AbuzarIlyas noticing immediate and serious support for this person from certain quarters, appears spooky to me as well.

Mansoor Ahmed of Harvard’s Belfer Center is a much better choice than this Dawn columnist. A poor decision by PTI and one doesn’t need to be a “Patwari” to say so.

You are a patwari. Nawaz Sharif is your master. ;)

He could not have been for this position without being vetted by Pakistan intelligence agencies.

Time will tell... apparently an individual advising PM is more of a risky business.
We have institutions for that and we must build institutions.

What the hell. Can anybody tell me what is happening ?

Reeks of your ignorance.
Can u please share some insight às on paper he seems to be pro american and i doubt that he will have Pakistani interest as top priority. I dont k ow the guy so i might be wrong

Funny thing the people who are criticizing his appointment don't even have the credentials to polish his shoes, leken baqwas karna patwariyon ki fitrat mein hi hai
