Dr Imran Rasul resigns from PM's Economic Advisory Council 'with a heavy heart'

Yes for starters, Maulana Diesel (Fazal-ur-Rehman) a fat overweight politician, Asif Zardari MR10%, Mian Nawaz shreif Mr 100% to name a few.

Overwhelming majority voted for PTI because Pakistani wanted change, People wanted Naya Pakistan not old Pakistan with lipstick on it, do you get that!
When have I denied it? Your version of Naya Pakistan starts and end at an economic advisor post? Sorry my friend Pakistan is much bigger than this. I have done my best to keep this issue under mild but tell me what are you doing here every one both on the right and left are trying their best to hold govt hostage.
It is PTI own future at stake if they don't deliver and it is their decision to decide who they want to work with or not for the betterment of Pakistan. I have no issue if you want to make your decision of vote on the appointment of Atif Mian but I will wait for PTI to perform.

More over I don't consider a single person more important than state. So for me this issue is not a matter. Govt bowed to Mullas or there was some other reason I don't care because today is the 21st day of govt these are only hurdles being created to stop PTI from performing.

.
People wanted naya Pakistan in term of no CORRUPTION from the govt. Take any TV shows or speech of Imran khan he always emphasis on CORRUPTION from the govt and criticized it.

If you think he can succeed by simply eliminating corruption, Good luck, but to me "Naya" Pakistan means new direction.

.
Fcukin hypocrite 101. Living in the den of liberal man fcuking man Norway and then b*tches about "libturd". It's like a guy relaxing inside a bar complaining about alcholics.

Wonders never seize !
Finally you realize whom we arguing with, a bunch of zombies obviously brain dead and biting around.

.

No it's starts at where the Zardari and Nawaz left it at. If you don't understand what people voted for then discussing this thing any further is futile.

Brain dead who lived in the country no matter what the situation is unlike other who left for being minority and enjoying luxury.

.
The government's U-turn was pathetic.

1.) Even if Ahmadis are non-Muslims, there is no law in Pakistan (or in deed in Islam) that disallows non-Muslims from holding office, even high office.

2.) They either shouldn't have appointed him in the first place OR should have had stuck to their guns. They further eroded the writ of the state and empowered extremists.

3.) The main loss is the Harvard guy, whose experience and academic interests are more relevant.

4.) The others should have still helped their (imperfect) country VS simply resigning --- trying to build a more economically prosperous and tolerant future is a better route than just resigning (though I understand the principle behind the resignations, of course.)

The silver lining is that we are still in good hands.

Brain dead who lived in the country no matter what the situation is unlike other who left for being minority and enjoying luxury.

What?

You know my respect for IK just goes up. To put with this bullshat the guy needs a Nishan e Sitara pinned on him by Gen. Bajwa. The idea of EAC is to gather a elite team of economists [what their fcukin faith is matter nought - when I go get my medical done I don't check the doctors faith] and then brainstorm solutions to Pakistan's economic issues. I mean it is okay for athiest Chinese to come to Pakistan and teach us how to build roads, build our ports, engage and build alliances with their army but we can't get advice from a Pakistan ex-pat because he is 1. Ahmedi 2. holds dual passport. I wonder has the chief Justice placed a clause that prohibits dual nationals to donate money to the dams fund?

No wonder we are where we are in Pakistan.

.
Respect for Dr Imran Rasul.

Also I am thinking not to give donations to prime minister dam account until I stop seeing bigotry and hypocrisy by this govt. When it comes religious bigotry, it is not different than others.

.
I have understood one thing. Its not the fault of people supporting religious bais, they dont have the training or intellect to understand the other point of view.
Its a whole different prespective which you learn after getting exposed to normally when you get to live in multicultural society. Back home living in majority muslim population and with such high prejudice its almost impossible to open up your mind.
For Pakistanis everyone is bad except them. Jews, christian, hindus, ahmadis all are bad. IMF, World bank are bad. USA is bad.
Outside Pakistan people understand that you have to be good yourself to prove you are good. Back home no such concept. They think because Pakistanis are good and special by birth so they dont need to improve or change, God should love them in way they are.
Every human is God's creation and God loves everyone. From pakistani people glasses of prejudice all people are bad except them. For God all are his creation and he loves them equally and rewards them based on niyyat and effort.
Europe has gone through this transition as well. Back in the days religious persecution, bigotry, baised and hatred was common. Roman catholic were burnt alive in big numbers. But they learnt. InshAllah Pakistan will also go through that. Its a slow transition.
We shall remember one thing. On the tree of hatred the only fruit we will get is hatred. We sow the seed today our kids will bear the fruit tomorrow. Natures law!!

Good decision don't pay for the dam infact Imran khan should impose tax rather than asking donation.

Impose tax on each electricity bill over 6,000 rupees pay extra 1000 for 3 months and you will have your money for dam and no I am no author of the book or IMF best economist list.

I was looking at the cabinet selected Quaid Mohammed Ali Jinnah after founding this country in 1947. His foreign minister was Ahmadi and his labour minister was Hindu. God forbid if Prime Imran Khan followed on the footsteps of Quaid and chose a Ahmedi as his Foreign minister and a Hindus as his Labour/Law minister.

Clearly intolerance has taken hold in society since then. Meritocracy is the first victim of this weed.

.
Can somebody explain please to me why it was okay for the founder of Pakistan - Mohammed Ali Jinnah to appoint the Ahmedi Zafaraulah Khan as Pakistan's first foreign minister. That is a incredibly powerful position and akin to Shah Mehmood Qureshi's post in the present government. But on the other hand a Ahmedi cannot be just a mere advisor?

Plesase explain this contradiction?

You have to understand the change in circumstances. Qadyanis hadn't openly declared rest of the Pakistani muslims Kafirs during Jinnah's time.

It started when Qadyanis attacked a train back in 70's.

Qadyani 'Khalifah', on the Parliament Floor, in 1973, declared that all those who do not believe Mirza Ghulam to be a nabi are kafir. This resulted in even a liberal Bhutto to fully support the clauses in the Constitution declaring Qadyanis non-muslims.

Ever since then, Qadyanis have been spewing venom against Pakistan.

Qadyanis do not consider themselves to be a minority, and lay claim to Pakistan as a majority. Their belief is that all non-qadyanis muslims are kafir. This is no small issue!

Due to this, the majority has grown intolerant of Qadyanis and restrictions have been placed on them to keep peace. Jinnah went against Congressi Mullah, and he would have gone against Qadyanis as well had he been alive after what they been doing since independence and especially after new constitution was written.

Having a different belief system is one thing (once a new nabi is introduced, it is no longer Islam) but masking it as Islam is deception, fraud and identity theft.

.
The whole thing about Atif Mian was because of his religion and not his passport or bank accounts. Don't try to change goalposts now. Hell we had a Prime Minister until yesterday who looted money from Pakistan and bought homes in London. Please tell me how having dual nationality precludes being a advisor? Try to differantiate between a advisor and executive position.

These people are unbelievable, it is so funny how shamelessly they are claiming that it is because of dual nationality. I don't see any Naya Pakistan, it is hijacked by pen di $1ri type mullas.

That is a contested point and not fact but assume even if it is true. Tell me do you believe in collective punishment?
