• They knew when during 2014 dharna, Imran attacked a police station and freed DJ Butt who was being held for drug trafficking.

ایکسپریس نیوز کے مطابق خاتون اول بشریٰ بی بی کے سابق شوہر خاور مانیکا کو گارڈز سمیت روکنا پاکپتن پولیس کے سربراہ کو مہنگا پڑگیا، آئی جی پنجاب نے ڈی پی او پاکپتن رضوان گوندل کا تبادلہ کردیا۔

خاور مانیکا کو 23 اگست کو گارڈز سمیت پولیس نے ناکے پر روکا لیکن خاور مانیکا نے گاڑی نہ روکی اور آگے نکل گئے، جس پر پولیس اہلکاروں نے پیچھا کرکے ان کی گاڑی روکی تو پولیس اہلکاروں اور خاور مانیکا کے گارڈز کے درمیان تلخ کلامی ہوئی۔
گاڑی کا پیچھا کرنے اور گارڈز سے تلخ کلامی پر خاور مانیکا ناراض ہوگئے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق خاتون اول بشریٰ عمران خان کی مداخلت پر آر پی او اور ڈی پی او کو وزیر اعلٰی ہاؤس طلب کیا گیا اور خاور مانیکا سے ان کے ڈیرے پر جاکر معافی مانگنے کا کہا گیا۔

ڈی پی او پاکپتن رضوان گوندل نے معذرت کرنے سے انکار کرتے ہوئے کہا تھا کہ جب غلطی نہیں کی تو معذرت کیسی؟ رضوان گوندل نے وزیراعلٰی پنجاب عثمان بزدار کو بھی اپنے اسی موقف سے آگاہ کیا تاہم سارے معاملے کے بعد ڈی پی او پاکتن کا تبادلہ کر دیا گیا۔
اس حوالے سے پنجاب پولیس کے ترجمان کا کہنا ہے کہ آئی جی پنجاب کلیم امام نے ڈی پی او پاکپتن کے بارے میں خفیہ انکوائری کرائی وہ غلط بیانی کے مرتکب پائے گئے جس پر ان کا تبادلہ کردیا گیا جب کہ کسی دباؤ کے تحت یہ قدم نہیں اٹھایا گیا۔

اطلاعات کے مطابق میڈیا پر خبریں جاری ہونے کے بعد وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے نوٹس لیتے ہوئے وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب سے واقعے کی رپورٹ طلب کرلی ہے۔​

I am not fond of Pakistan police ....... but Police could have shot him dead for not stopping at check point. He is lucky that he is breathing. If it was some one else without a dalla (hilux pickup) full of armed private hired thugs ........ that would have been his fate.

Every 'legal' checkpost is sanctioned officially. Should he have been shot at an illegal checkpost (those setup to collect bhatta)?

Anyways, the real story was that he stopped at the checkpost and then complained to IG Punjab. It is not true that he breached the checkpost and was chased.

And that checkpost was not sanctioned. No official record and approval of it exists, and if it does then that DPO should produce it.
