No one is going to defuse the news from PTI. Instead expect more transfer coming soon. Media will run out people from IK family but transfers will still continue. You only few days to enjoy taking one party supporters against other here cause after presidential elections this political debate will end as PMLN is on its last juice. Nawaz is not coming out and Shahbaz cannot play the long game. Police is the only tool which Shahbaz knows to use in politics and in 2 weeks police and bureaucracy will be sorted out. Enjoy your time till then.

I know police is corrupt, probably drunk too. They should be demoted and transfered. But CM PUNJAB has no authority to intervene in police internal affairs. This is what Showbaz Sharif used to do.
So far no one has denied CM PUNJAB wasn't involved in the affair. That's the core of the problem.

I am more than OK if this current CM Punjab removes any arrogant and corrupt police officer with one notice. There are plenty for him to target. As per some news, list is already ready for major overhaul.

Again it's not his job description per law and constitution. I am a amazed how same Insafians who cried about Showbaz Sharifs destroying Punjab police, are now so vigorously defending CM PUNJAB Buzdar, just because he is from PTI.

It's been eight days of Insafian government so they are probably in a state of shock and may be too soon for them to admit their mistake. Give them few more weeks before their better judgement skills will reinvigorate.

IG Punjab already has the complete authority to reshuffle. CM Punjab can only appoint or remove IG Punjab. That's it. He has no more authority to intervene further in the police department of Punjab

I think blind Insafians need a major wake-up call themselves. I understand PTI is finally in power, but that doesn't mean they are free of responsibility that comes with it. They have to learn to digest that power or it will destroy everything as it did with Pmln
