Dozens of Myanmar troops killed fighting northern rebels

Keep on dreaming.

hay.. every journey must start with 1st steps... and we will not go to subnission of arm but transform into BGF.. they will unite as an one army...

The Bangli fought a Jihad against Barmese. They lost it and have no hope of winning. They knew it. USA pretend not to see it until Barmese open herself up to USA, hoping to wean herself from China.

After baiting Barmese, USA and her Sunni ally suddenly found something call 969 Buddhist Nazi and found someone call Rohingya. Then they shout on roof top about how Rohingya get shit.

They are even crazy to appeal to Aung Sun Su kyi and accuse her not speaking up as if they do not know --- Su Kyi father Bogyoke Aung Sun made his bones by inciting nationalism against Indians (including Bangli) and white man.

There is a lot of shit in this part of history and I am going to expose it. The white man, Barmese, Islamo, all make a lot of shit and try acting like virgin innocent.

The Mujahids of Chittagonian Muslims from North Arakan declared the jihad on Burma after the central government refused to grant a separate Muslim state in thetwo townships, Buthidaung and Maungdaw that lie along the East Pakistani (present-day Bangladeshi) border. The Mujahid movement was launched before Burma gained independence, and sabotaged the resettlement program for the refugees in the Buthidaung and Maungdaw Townships. During the World War II, the Arakanese inhabitants of Buthidaung and Maungdaw were forced to leave their homes.

Rohingya did fought and they lost the war. Arakan is not suitable to conduct hit and run war fare as they are flat. The Kachin land is piece of rain forest in mountains. Barmese cant flush them out if they wish to fight.

There is no such thing like Barmese being gentle to their insurgence. They are basically drive their minorities into refugee camps in Thailand and China in hundreds of thousands.

dude.. if we will not be gentle or if we use full load , we got them since 1970s.. Do u know The Head Camp of Kachin (KIA) is just 3.5 km away from our Artillery.. ? if we want to get them , no need a whole day.. Do u know Army troops died every day due to IED and snipers during calling KIA and TNLA to cease-fire .. Do u know why..? they didnt get an order to fight back even they were under attacked.. the only order they got was if u are under attacked , take cover and return to the camps.. that's all.. they worried to get something impact on discussion due to the fights.. Like Israel amd Hamas.. if they were weak , call to stop War then they collect and prepare man and weapon.. After that ..war again.. Dont trust to Media and come and see our land..

2nd point...
No need to drive... we do love our tribe more than u... dude.. But who want to live unstable states..? Now we got agreement with Karen and accept back our people... if we got peace completely., we call to come back every single person of Myanmar.. Myanmar , second largest nation in ASEAN, is their home.. no need to live other's land...
1st step..

Myawaddy - The government and the Karen National Union have jointly set up a new town project to create job opportunities and resettlement in Myanmar for refugees currently living in Thailand.
The new town is built on 750 acres of land located near Malwakhee Village. The project is named Laykaykaw Town and contains industries for job creation. Also, the new town project contains governmental offices, schools, hospital, playground, market, swimming pool, and electricity.

The Border Affairs and Security Minister of Kayin State Col Aung Lwin visited the new town on January 22 and observed the project. He instructed the project to be systematic in water distribution, road, health, education and relaxation zones.

Many people fled to Thailand due to the ongoing civil war in Myanmar. In order for them to return to Myanmar, the authorities and the KNU funded the project.

General Prayuth Chan-o-cha, chief of Thailand’s National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), said that returning the refugees was one of the issues discussed during his meeting with Myanmar Armed Forces chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on July 4 in Bangkok.

Refugees from Myanmar of mostly Kayin and Kayah origin fled armed conflict and have sought refuge in Thailand for more than three decades in temporary shelters administered by the host country. According to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), there are 72,900 Myanmar refugees in Thailand as of this month. On top of that are some 51,500 people who are in refugee-like situations.

In the updated operations announcement released this month, the agency noted that increased interest among refugees in returning to Myanmar requires budget estimates that cover potential activities, should conditions be deemed conducive.

"Significant financial support may be needed in 2015 to support shelter repair and maintenance in Rakhine and Kachin states. Given the above, the 2015 budget for Myanmar is set at US$67.8 million," the agency said.

The agency is planning support for around 20,000 potential returnees in 2015, although conditions are not yet sufficient to support any organised voluntary return.

Kayin State has witnessed periodic clashes between the union military and the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army (DKBA). The latest clashes occurred last October despite a tightening of security by Union troops.

Yet, clashes are more frequently reported in Kachin State.

Because of the clashes between the government and the Kachin Independence Army, there are more than 100,000 refugees in Kachin State. In the government-controlled area, there are more than 40,000 IDPs and in the Kachin Independence Organisation-controlled area, there are more than 82,000 IDPs.

As the conflicts have lasted well over three years, the houses built for refugees in 2011 have deteriorated and the major hardship is getting food, according to a committee based in Laiza that is helping the refugees.

Food shortages occurred at some camps in the KIO-controlled area last July due to delay in assistance, according to Dwe Pisa, chairman of the committee for helping the IDPs.

In Kachin State and northern Shan State, more than 100,000 IDPs are displaced and in need of continued humanitarian assistance. They are living in camps in both government-controlled areas and those under the control of non-state actors.

In 2012, violence in Rakhine State forced around 140,000 people to flee their homes. The majority live in government-designated IDP camps near the state capital, Sittwe, and in surrounding townships.

Keep on dreaming.

dreaming.. LOL.. dream do come true.. dude.. see our Army and KNU relationship..

It all started from the begining of Japanese invasion and when Arakanese supported by japs and Rohingyas supported by brits. You talk about the riots of the Mungdaw township but did not talk about the Rohingya slaughter all across the Arakan with the advent of Japanese by the Rakhaines.
There were nothing wrong of asking for a a separate administration for themselves when all of sub continenet and burmese are asking for the same from British and used violence as a tactic.

Bro ... we fully understood this situation.
When Vietnam troops help the Laos govt to wipe out the rebels, Laotian friends said that Laos population is very small, if killing them all then it's smaller. So we did just like what you doing now.
"call them out to surrender"

The General, the commander of those Vietnamese troops is my neighbor, his niece is same age to my younger sister.

These people are ethnic Chinese. I never knew this was such an issue. They seem to be very well armed as well.

Aung Zaya. Is the policy of not giving citizenshhip apply to Chinese Myanmese too? They also cam during brittish era.

Most Chinese are well treated in Myanmar other than in some very specific time, not unlike Thailand. I think they should have citizenship as those I met seem to be citizen.

There is so many fake Myanmese elite who are in reality Chinese.

Even Chinese Muslims aka Panthay are well treated. Panthay even curse the Bangli Islamo aka Rohingya sabotaging Islam. They say that Islam get shit because Bangli self poison their minds with shit ideology.

Other Islamo need to introspect why everyone like Chinese Muslims and why everyone have problem with non Chinese Sunni.

“I told them: ‘Shave it off. It endangers you. The beard is not important. What is important is how you practice your religion.’

Mr. Thein Win Aung, the imam, says religious strife is also being aggravated by what he describes as radical Muslims trained in India and the Middle East, who are preaching separation from Buddhist society.

What? Who supplies them? Btw, those vehicles look awfully familiar....

Lux,

I just did a reading on the United Wa State Army; these guys have a larger army than Laos' Army, better armed at that. The Wa State Army is 5 divisions strong; 30,000 active military men plus 10,000 on auxiliary reserves. These guys have deployed HN-5N and FN-6 surface to air missiles throuhout it's territory --- all supplied by China! Recently the Wa Army received Mil-17 attack helicopters armed with air to air and air to ground missiles vis-a-vis China, not including numerous ground vehicles with anti tank warfare capability.

Didn't know how "involved" China is in Burmese internal affairs. Really really amazed by this. It's funny too because Burmese junta also purchases military materiel from China, lol.

Well, im not really sjurprised to be honest, Its like saying you are surprise the U.S will be engaged/involved in Mexico if the country was in conflct/civil war. All big countries always get involve in their smaller neighbours/countries to some extent, especially when they are in conflict. It was the case in Korean war, Vietnam war, LTTE in sri lanka, Bengladesh independence war, war in Iraq, Ukraine crisis/Georgia war etc etc..... It will keep being this way in future....geo politics at play. hihihihihihihi So im surprised you say you are surprise, i thought someone like you of all people, knew better my friend nihonji.

How China can pull off being good friend of Barmese as well as Kachin, Karen, Shan, Wa, remain a mystery to me even till now.

Also Myanmar fighting factions seems not able great hatred with one another. The Kachin and Wa elites seems to be able to go Yangon and do their shopping during weekends.

What do you mean not like Thailand ? You know that there are over 10 million Chinese-Thais in Thailand right? Literaly 1/6th of Thailand is Chinese? That doesn't even count Thai people who have Chinese blood ancestry. Maybe 40% to 50% of modern Thai people have Chinese ancestry (whole or partial). Thailand is home to the largest Chinese diaspora in the whole of Southeast Asia. It borders near Yunnan for goodness sakes! LOL.

I had always suspected that China had some involvement in these states, but didn't know the detail(s) or depth of such involvement. To be honest, i thought they were providing humanitarian aid or monetary aid, i didn't know that China actually provided military and arms aid. It practically prevents the Burmese from fully taking control of their own country, she remains , unfortunately a fragmented state with all these armed rebels / ethnic groups around her peripheral regions.

It is a very precarious and delicate harmony, in my honest opinion.

No.. Bro.. Any one who fit our 1982 laws and live under law , rule and regulations can apply citizenships.. No restriction on specific person bro.. Whatever Islam , Buddhist , Christian..

One interesting thing.. The Most of so - called Rohingya who always claim that they are Myanmar tribe surprisingly refused to pay respect to Myanmar Flag and sing the national anthem.. The more interesting thing is that new was expressed again and again in local news but never heard from Rohingya Lobbies...

Immigrated Chinese who could control the economy of their own countries, would be opposer to China mainland, @Lux de Veritas ? Because that's the reason for them to leave China.

Same to American and Great Britain.

Chinese minority ethnic unrest, in another way, is just the reason for China to put their arm into the other countries ' arrangement.
