Don't vote for BJP, it will impose a Hindu CM, Only a Muslim can become CM in J&K: PDP leader

Correct. Just look how minorities have prospered in Pakistan but have virtually vanished in India.

Further off topic posts will lead to your permanent ban. This is an Indian centric topic, please do not suck your own phallus off by making such pointless derailing posts to appease your ego.

that is true, it depends on the inhibitions being put forward. That somehow Muslims in Kashmir will suffer under a Hindu BJP CM. This has political misconstruing at its core, but there is historical precedent for it.. and at the same time against it.
The Indian state under the Raj and after it has had some non-muslim leadership in smaller positions who played instrumental roles in providing betterment to the Muslim communities..

At the same time there are clear historical examples where Hindus(and Muslims in a vice-versa example) in positions of power have played a biased role against the Majority or minority Muslim population. It is then therefore usually best to take a leader from the major section of the community at the top and then intersperse it with those from the minority communities in the positions directly beneath them... or as the other alternative.. appoint a Hindu CM but ensure that the majority of his staff and cabinet are Muslim and hence help keep his decisions balanced.

sir you will have to understand politics and governance are different . A politician on the street will say a lot of things to get into power but once in office he will have to follow the rulebook if he wants to remain relevant for a long time . Those who involve in any kind of appeasement or favoritism will be rejected by the same people who voted them . The general mood today in india is that people want good governance and a non-corrupt system not mandirs or masjids , if someone can deliver that people will support him irrespective of his religion , caste or identity .

people said all sorts of things about modi during 2014 campaign that if he comes to power he will finish of muslims and riots will a daily routine but has that happened ? he is in office doing his job , following the process like his predecessors . No cm or pm would want any trouble under his governance sir , our democratic setup and constitution doesn't let him have a biased mindset . BJP did so much hindutva politics on streets but never constructed any ram mandir when in power , reason being when they are in office they don't want any problems and are advised by bureaucrats on every minute issue which will effect our country in the long run .

Thanks for the warning.
But how is it off topic? You cited "clear historical examples" and I just mentioned one. Either yours is off topic too or mine is not.

Historical examples talk of British India .. and Indian history. Pakistan is not, nor will it EVER be the topic or a point in this discussion.

At the same time, you also have to see that the highlighted parts have a direct effect on the perception of the populous being governed. Whether you do it or not is irrelevant to the perception of the people expecting it. An example could be certain good activities undertaken by NaMo whilst CM of Gujrat during the 2002 riots that would have been beneficial to the Muslims as well.
However, due to the label but on him via his alleged actions.. his good actions are not considered with the same weightage that the actions of someone who may have done nothing much but was from the Muslim community or appeasing to the Muslim(or any community) populous.

Srinagar: In an apparent reference to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which is trying to make inroads in the Jammu and Kashmir, People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Peer Mansoor has urged the people not to vote for parties, which would impose a Hindu chief minister if elected to power.

Addressing a rally in south Kashmir, PDP MLA Mansoor said that certain parties are trying to forge an alliance with some communal elements and want to impose a Hindu CM in J&K.

He urged the people not to vote for parties which would impose a Hindu CM as it would be a curse on Kashmir.

Mansoor also reportedly said that Kashmir has a Muslim majority and only a person from the same community can rule the state.

Mansoor's controversial statement has drawn a sharp reaction from the BJP, which said that it would file a complaint with the State Election Commission in this regard.

The BJP has also demanded strict action against Mansoor for playing communal card ahead of assembly elections, and said such remarks are not good for the nation's integrity.

Interestingly, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti had recently said, “The electoral contest is now mainly between PDP and BJP; casting votes for NC or Congress would be a sheer wastage of your power to change.”

Jammu and Kashmir Assembly has 87 seats and will witness five phase elections starting from November 25.

Polling in the hilly state will take place on November 25 for phase 1, December 2 for phase 2, December 9 for phase 3, December 14 for phase 4 and December 20 for phase 5.

Counting of votes for all the five phases will be held on December 23.

If you are really an Indian ... Then FYI!....you are being ruled by a Hindu...so I think you should die now.

His intelligence level is way too low for any Indian on this forum to bother responding. He most probably gets beaten by his Hindu classmates at school on a daily basis and turns to this forum to vent

. . .
How has other Hindu CM`s and PM`s have been a curse on Indian states or India at large ? If it was left to people like these to run States , in no time Indian states will turn to ISIS breeding grounds.
Why doesnt he change the name of his party from Peoples Democratic Party , who only wants a Muslim to be a CM of J and K to Al Muslameen Party or whatever.

. .
Hindu CM in JK, will create more problems. There should only a Muslim CM in a muslim majority state.
so are you saying we did a mistake by electing Sri A.P.J. Kalam of Hindu Majority the President India , adn many other deserving Muslims for the best seats possible?
I believe in Best position for the Best candidate , what do you think?
