I am not a good debator ...nor should we debate since i thanked your first post so i agreed with you at some level .
But still i am entitled to have my views and you yours . Lets not derail the thread further and applaud Dolphins for their work

We need modern 21st century transport not kachra running on our roads . It's a good initiative for female travellers who can go and travel with some dignity and not be harassed . Any development is good development be it hospital , school or road.

I am from Karachi and literally in full admiration of Punjab CM. You may call him Showbaaz Sharif but he surely doing his job wonderfully well. Lahore infrastructure after Islamabad is the best in entire Pakistan. Sad to see Karachi is lagging so behind now infact Karachi is no more than an over populated dump.

Imagine an orange line running through Karachi's skyline . Would be epic .If we want to progress we need much better infrastructure . Foreign investors are going to come to our country and see the state of our infrastructure and run away . We need more better roads , Orange lines , Railroads , Better airports ,. that along with ofcourse Hospitals and Schools .

Karachi does have alot of skyscrapers but most of them are spread out . Karachi is one of the biggest cities in the world by area . Many areas have their own mini skyline like clifton , bahadurabad , Chandrigar road etc etc . Most cities are very compact so almost all their skyline is at one place . Karachi's problem is its vast area that's why there is no big cluster of buildings at one spot . Dolmen mall area in near future will have a good skyline with bahria icon complete (262m) as well as dolmen towers and the small surrounding clusters .

Cleanliness of Karachi's roads will also do wonders for the city . They should learn this aspect from Islamabad's CDA where they keep the streets squeaky clean .

normally police patrolling units using motorbikes as their prime transpiration use different uniforms then the others its because the risk of accidents are much greater at bike rather than four wheeler. light dresses have very less protection against such type of incident while the specially designed dress are stitched keeping in view not only safety of officer but it save from weather conditions i.e. rain, sunlight, cold etc, maintain the gear in good position and most of these dresses are waterproof so that the police could perform their service in all weathers.

This story is complete with fallacies, and correlation bias.

The main emphasis is that for some reason the Lahore Police had to get a suggestion from Turkish Police about smart policing. Just the idea of deploying a flood of police during high crime timings is centuries old.

There is no evidence that the Dolphin Force is responsible for the decline. Just hiring additional police officers to existing forces and sending them out during high crime hours would have accomplished the same.

According to official statistics, city witnessed almost 50 percent decrease in the incidents of street robberies since the new patrolling units are employed to fight criminals involved in robberies, mugging, and theft.
