Asserting that turning a deaf ear to Beijing will worsen the standoff at Doklam, a Chinese media report has said it is expecting India to abide by the basic principles of international law. Should India worry about the Chinese encirclement?

dear @CAD I see daily you end up creating 5-10 new threads regarding Chinese threats being issues toward India, mostly all of the comments in threads remain same, one half cheer leading other half defending, wouldn't it be great if you keep on piling upon same thread? it will save time, database space, and end less trolling as well. Just as a thought.

On topic, it has been established multiple times, India and China wont go to war, stakes are too high when compared to gain i.e non arable mountains, covered in snow half of the time. Probably standoff will continue, as both Xi and Modi will try to achieve a face saver until it starts to snowing again, at that moment both parties will retreat and will try coming up with something else.
