Afaik Nagas in India also eat dog meat, being a vegetarian myself this used to give me creeps initially, but now I know that somebody's eating habits should not bother me unless they are snatching something from my plate.

I don't know in what sense he told me, but once he told human meat will be salty in taste.... I am not suprised even if they really tasted, Once we were sitting under a tree, one guy found a snake and he peeled its skin completely by pressing its head with his toe and told me its a male snake.. These guys are daredevils than bear grylls. You may wonder people are living like this, but this village exists near perunali, Ramanathapuram district, tamil nadu...

Even if someone goes and ask, are people eating wild animals like this in the surrounding areas?. They will laugh at us like we are good for nothing and what's suprise in that.

VN has been influenced a lot by Western culture. But we don't consider it losing our identity. We are proud that our culture is the mix of both Eastern and Western culture. Unlike China, we don't really have the persistance to cling on the traditional value, but always selecting new, mordern, civilized value to add to our culture.

If eating beef is fine. Eating dogs is definitely fine.
One should stop ourselves from questioning people about their food habits.

Like eating with hands is considered bad in west not in India. a simple case of culture.

If the meal provides protein then its very good.

It should not be a topic of discussion.

I don't believe a culture can be superior to another, same goes to religion. There are multiple aspects that affect the development of a nation, an culture and religion are but two small aspect of them. If you cannot feed yourself, do you care if your boss is Christian or atheist? Do you care if his mother tongue is not yours? Even some of English speaking countries are well developed.

And my reply makes a good point, and I await your comments on it. A dog meat festival, as I have proposed, catering specifically to the Chinese, would make eminent political, financial and social sense for obvious reasons. It is a win-win situation and should be considered seriously.

The dog meat is not that good , the best meat on the world is the donkey meat ... u shoud try it, taste very good.

The Chinese spent thousand years to research food & cook, we not hate dog & just eating dog meat good for health, both China and Korea eat dogs ... we love our pet dogs & nobody in china eat pet dogs, meat dogs come from special dog farms just like chicken/pig farms.
