My feeling is that Pakistan today is like Germany after World War II i.e. totally destroyed in terms of Economy and infrastructure and just like Germany we will rebuild our Nation to great heights.

We are basically lazy people and we let things get bad but now we are waking up slowly.

Look where China was 30 years ago.

It may take few decades but we have the potential to rise.

But Germans were never lazy people...

Pakistanis comparing themselves to Germans and Japanese is joke of the century..German and Japanese both were gun power empires..which means they boasted huge armies along with huge R/D base and scientific know how..and above all these people did not desire to live under slavery of foreign invaders..It was Germans who defeated the Roman empire and liberated the slave..

Ghaznavi, Abdali, Mohammed Bin Qasim on other hand are Pakistani heros..Pakistani take pride in wearing the Arab shoe on their head..therefore, Pakistan has no long term future to civilize, it will always remain a chaotic country which capital shifting abroad..

Can we make Metros , Yes we can slowly and surely
Can we fix the railways , Yes we can in due time
Can police be fixed to international standard in due time
Can education be improved , yes certainly
Can Water Dams be constructed we already are taking action

As things stand now where little kids aren't safe from kidnapping and rape and where the police act as the militia for the big mafias, Pakistan has no future.

Really, any society where there is no justice has no future.
