The Pakistan armed forces have taken an edge in all cutting edge tactics of warfare from chemical to nuclear. But the question is this are our armed forces capable of responding to a biological threat ?

Biological warfare —also known as —is the use of biological toxins or infectious agents such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi with the intent to kill or incapacitate humans, animals or plants as an act of war. Biological weapons (often termed "bio-weapons", "biological threat agents", or "bio-agents") are living organisms or replicating entities (viruses, which are not universally considered "alive") that reproduce or replicate within their hostvictims. Entomological (insect) warfare is also considered a type of biological weapon. This type of warfare is distinct from nuclear warfare and chemical warfare, which together make up NBC, the military initialism for nuclear, biological, and chemical (warfare or weapons), all of which are considered "weapons of mass destruction" (WMDs). None of these fall under the term conventional weaponswhich are primarily effective due to their destructive potential.

Yes. NBC warfare is studied by most militaries. No reason why Pakistan army won't do the same.

Did Pak hold biological weapon? Not did Pak able to operate under NBC.

Pakistan is signatory to chemical and biological treaties so they are bound not to make chemical and biological weapons however they have the knowldge and expertise to save themselves from such threats

no need to purposely derail the topic and start a troll war. Read the post again, it is not difficult to understand what he is SAYING.

They should be allowed against Taliban though.

. .
yeah and where's Nazi Germany now?
in history books :D

They should be allowed against Taliban though.
No and never. Biological weapons can be more deadly than Nuclear ones in certain condtions. More over they are not use for collateral damage but to kill as many humans as possible................ and in a slow pain full way

. .
I can confirm NBC course is given by the Pak Army to willing officers and jawans.About existence of any specific unit for this purpose can't say with certainty.

.
if it is not out of topic can any one clarify what are safeguards against biological weapons.

.
Pakistan is known to have very basic capabilities of building up biological and chemical weapons.
This is due to lack of advancement bio and chem base in general. Also being a signatory Pakistan like India cannot officially keep these weapons.

India has a very big commercial bio chemical / pharma industry, even though officially it doesnt poses biological and chemical warfare, it is very much capable of building it in very short time.
